The Trippie Who Hath No Name, or, the trippie that'll be completed when I get..

I'm having truoble naming this TR & I need your help-you can pick up to 3:

  • "The Trippie Who Hath No Bacon"

  • "The UNDisney-est Vacay EVER!"

  • "Setting out to be the Longest Running Trippie on the Dis....with STYLE!"

  • "NEVER Invite People Wut Doesn't Wants to go..."

  • "COVER YOUR EARS! Did she REALLY just say that??!??!"

  • "How to hate your mate in 7 easy days..."

  • "The BEST way to stay friends with your friends is to NOT spend time with them while on vacay..."

  • "Food Porn - not on THIS Thread!"

  • "Other" [submit your own title]

  • "This trippie Who Hath No Name" [the sentimental favorite]

Results are only viewable after voting.
....and that's why one of my possible titles for this trippie is "Making a WDW vaca feel like it's NOT a WDW vaca..."
Hmmm...a little bit of a teaser here? Hints of what's to come?

We want a new post! We want a new post!

Please?:lovestruc

psst...you updated Post #126; I updated #141...:upsidedow

[...some extra pix posted on Post #126 - page 9...]

And then some....

Thanks for the updates, but is it really that hard to create a new post? This going back and re reading b/c you can't tell where the previous post ended is driving me

...that's all part of the fun...

New Rule...when someone goes back to update a previous post and no one has done a (Belle's) new rule on it, the rest of us just goes back to our responses and updates our previous posts! That way, it's fun for all. ;)

I'll go

That's just too dang much to remember!

OK, I've finally scanned the trippie up to page 5... Do I need to continue or can someone fill me? :3dglasses

Day 1 - Could it POSSIBLY get any HOTTER here, or am I just on the THRESHHOLD of H*LL?

....ascending one flight of stairs and veering left [we were in an end unit] we rang the bell to the condo (gee, I didn't know that they put doorbells on timeshare units :confused3 !!) and were greeted by happy hugs from our friends. They had already settled in nicely - junk food prominently dislayed on the counter and soda chilling in the fridge. The 'main double doors' of our home-sweet-home for the next few days opened up to a vestibule and contained a set of caddy-cornered doors, which led to each of the 2 apartments. Ours was on the right; theirs on the left - we had previously made arrangements that Dylan would be sleeping in the 2nd bedroom on their side (strategically placed so that our friends' son Justin would not be tempted to have his GF 'sneak into' his room in the middle of the night ;))

...all luggage safely removed from the vehicle, we (the four adults) would now head on out to the nearest grocery store to buy food for the week. During our previous meeting, I had made some suggestions as to what we could whip up for some of our meals without being too complicated. After all, we ARE on vacation, and the last thing I want to do is spend it in the kitchen cooking for 9 people....to avoid the mad rush and chaos at the nearest Super Walmarts, we opted to take a left turn onto 192 and venture out to the Super Target, but at the last moment opted for the Publix, right off Fla 429....$200 per each couple, a case each of water and iced tea, and 11 grocery bags later, we were heading back. Since my DH has Celiac, I must be very careful about what he ingests, so, we purchased a large bucket of fried chicken, ears of corn, a large bag of fries, and salad fixings to enjoy our first impromptu feast together. (I simply purchased a small package of chicken breast so that I could saute` that for him and, within 20 minutes dinner was served! )

....it was stll early in the evening and we were all a bit antsy, so we headed off to DTD to check out the happenings...

....I was on a secret mission - to head straight to my FAVORITE candy store, the Candy Cauldron (which, BTW ~ is a MUST on your next DTD visit!)to get my mitts on one of life's greatest treasures:

...the BIG, JUNKY APPLE! I planned on bringing it back to the condo, since a), I didn't have the proper tools in which to attack that baby, and b), I felt as if I was walking around with a giant hot, wet blanket over my head - it was almost 11 PM and the gosh-darned temperature was EIGHTY-NINE DEGREES. You know, as they say, "it's not the heat, it's the humidity" [bullsh*t] - well throw in a factor of roughly 90% humidity, and you've got yourself one cranky person (of course, I had my big junky apple to keep me in check! ;) , but I couldn't vouch for the rest of my party...)

...we sauntered back in the direction of the Marketplace, fighting the swelling crowd [it was not unlike a human carwash], where we encountered DTD's version of those white statues usually found in France, over at Epcot:

...but, seriously, this guy was just TOO DANGED CREEPY for me...I felt like an extra on Nightmare on Elm Street Meets KISS or something...

....eventually, we walked around browsing inside World of Disney, because there was a sudden late-evening cloudburst, which only enhanced the 'hot, wet blanket' experience...we exited through the main side door, only to be pleasantly surprised by one of the street performers:

...before finally answering the beckoning call of the ever-fragrant Basin, home of bath bombs and assorted Disney soaps. A full day in Florida behind us, we returned to Mystic Dunes, passing many Disney buses [which, of course, I secretly wished I was on...:guilty: ]with hopes of excitement and fun for a full day tomorrow....

..surprisingly, nope.

My darling little B was standing next to me as I scrolled through your pictures. She saw the apples and said, "I want that birthday!" Now I have to figure out how to convince DH that we can't disappoint her. I would hate to think of what curse she would cook up in her little cauldron if we did.:stir:
