The trip that launched my OCD....COMPLETE!!

Wonderul report!!!I agree about the naps. One day last trip I insisted about the naps and it took me longer to get my youngest to sleep than she actually slept.I hope your next trip is as great as this one was. Can't wait to read about it.

I just read your whole report and loved it! I burst out laughing at the Dinosaur part! You are a great writer and I enjoyed hearing about your trip! Sounds like it was an absolute blast! Did you do a TR for your trip with the in-laws? If so I have to read it!

Great report, loved that synopsis, just loverly!
:thumbsup2

That was great!
I'm sure the people around us thought we owned stock in Chiquita.
:rotfl:
I actually choked on the water I was drinking when I read this. Now I'm sure that many would disagree with this one line being the funniest thing in your VERY funny report, but that did it for me. My DD who was 4 when we were there last February ate nothing but cookies and french toast. Literally nothing else. And we begged, we pleaded, we bribed, we tried everything. I'm just glad that I won't be alone when I receive the Mother of the Year award for that one.
Thanks for writing.

That was great! I'm really getting excited about our trip in May. You cracked me up with your VH1 references. Savor the Flavor! ha ha. My husband watches all those stupid shows and I'm forced to sit by and let brain cells die while he does.

Hope you made it through the tornados and all yesterday. My little ones were all in a tizzy because they thought we might just find ourselves in Oz at the end of the day. No such luck for them.

terrific report and great wrap up - thanks so much for sharing with us!

Wow, everyone is so nice...thanks! :goodvibes We did survive the tornado...it didn't come too close.

French toast and cookies huh? Great nutritional value as well! At least she introduced the syrup family into the food pyramid!

Hello stubborn have you met hardheaded? I cannot believe I have a child more stubborn than me. I didn't think that was possible.

I can't wait for our January 2007 report. I'm telling you, if I live through 9 days with the inlaws it will be a report worth reading! :rotfl:

My biggest regret from the Oct. trip is that I did not buy the Dinosaur picture. It was seriously funny, in an embarassing way. After my screaming extravaganza I felt like you feel when you fall and then you look around to make sure no one saw you fall only someone did see you fall so you think if you can just get away from the person who saw you fall it will no longer be out there in the universe thus making it something that never actually happened. Does anyone know what I mean? Well, that's how I felt. I thought if I could get away from the people in my car it would be like I never actually screamed like a screamin' mimi, so I ran thinking there! now it didn't really happen. But alas, I was foiled by the photographic proof! Too funny. I'll tell ya, that karma is everything they say she is!

Ms Tiki, I thoroughly enjoyed your report and will be looking for the next one next year. As Emeril would say, BAM!

I'm so sad it's over! Thanks for a GREAT report. If you have any really great ideas for your Jan trip, let me know! I'm always looking for ways to improve on The Plan.

A bam? I got a Bam? I'm so excited! :cool1: For the longest time one of my boys would run around saying, "Bam, kick it up a notch!" anytime something exciting happened! My dad taught him this and thought it was hilarious...I have to admit I did too.

Punkin's Mom, I thought I lost you....when in Dec. are you going? Are you doing the MVMCP? We did the Halloween party and thought it was worth it. One thing we are going to do on the next trip is the Pirate Adventure Cruise from the GF. I've read good things about it here. I think we're also going to try to eat at a few more resorts just to get a look at them. What big things are you planning? Remind me when you were there again in January...did it seem like the parks all close pretty early or what's the story there?

You never lost me - I've always been lurking! We went the beginning of February this year. The parks closed at 9:00 most nights. I'm not sure if that's early compared to other times of the year, but we never made it to closing anyway so it didn't seem early to us. The crowds were great. We hardly waited for anything. Of course one might say that was due to a brilliant plan.

My sister and I started planning our next trip in the airport waiting to board our flight home. I just booked All Star Movies for Dec 11 - 15. I have all 5 days planned already - I just have to wait on park hours and the party schedule to decide the order. I too decided to branch out to the resorts for meals. Our arrival day we're going into MK for a couple of hours then taking the boat over to eat at Whispering Canyon and early to bed. Then we'll do the Princess breakfast early in Norway and spend the morning in Epcot. We'll move to MGM in the afternoon. The next day we'll start in AK but be back to MK by lunch. (We only want to ride Everest.) We'll have an early dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern then stay for the party. Next day we'll head back to MK then take the monorail to GF for an early dinner at 1900 Park Fare. After dinner we'll take the monorail over to Epcot for the Candlelight Processional and Illuminations. Our last day we'll go to Epcot until we have to catch our ME bus to the airport. Now that I know what rides we like, making a touring plan will be easy.

That was probably way more than you wanted to know, right?! I'd like your opinion though. We're kindred Disney spirits.

Will you be there early enough in January to see the decorations? How many days? Where are you staying?

I'm very excited because we'll be staying 9 days this time. We felt like we didn't get to do all we wanted last time w/7 days so hopefully this will be enough. We're staying at ASMo. For as commando as we are, it makes sense and we had a great stay there last time. We're going Jan 20-28 so I'm assuming the decorations will all be taken down :rolleyes2 ...that's too bad because I'd love to see them. I am a Christmas nut! I'm jealous that you'll get to see all that. You'll have to let me know how you like it!
