I know it's easier said than done, but don't feel guilty. Not one bit. You, your lovely wife, and your little princess have been through a lot, and I really believe you deserve this trip. Honestly, to me, it's like an affirmation. Seeing the wish granters coming, seeing the DISers pull together with gifts...it just makes me remember about the best in people, and I'm so happy for you. Congrats on getting the tea party! Make sure you teach Juliana how to put that pinky up...at least once. And here's some for you.

Juliana's granters asked what I was going to do during the tea party... I said I wasn't sure. Maybe I will just ride the monorail for a couple hours.

We are in the home stretch now. I know Juliana will have the time of her life!

Actually the only thing that is still up in the air is what time our ride will be here to pick us up. The company should be contacting us in a few days to set up the time.

We know she is deserving- I think I (and Mel too) have just been overwhelmed with kindness from so many people and when you think about what MAW is doing for her it is very humbling.

I think her mother is going to have to teach her the pinky thing!

Tim, I tried to stay up last night to hear the news, but I was just so tired and had to go to bed.

First, you have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to feel guilty about. It does't matter that you've been Disney a few times before. What matters is that Juliana wished for this, the grantors felt she deserved this wish despite the years in between, and I can think of no one more deserving after what Juliana went through and still has to go throught. So no more feeling guilty.

I am delighted that Ana got her Tea Party. She is going to have such a great time and I can't wait to see the pictures, etc.

One week...wow, that sure came up fast.

Love and kisses to Ana, and to you and Mel for a wonderful Thanksgiving. You have a lot to be thankful for in that little angel.

What a great visit from your wish granters...I am so happy that Juliana will get to go to the tea party with your wife!!!! You all must have been grinning from ear to ear as I sure was reading your update.

As for some of the feelings you are having about your MAW trip. I absolutely know what you mean as I have the same ones often since Chelsea has been off treatment for awhile and thankfully doing well. But then I see a picture of Fuller on his first birthday and remember that Chelsea did not get to have a party in the same way, was not interested in cake or food in general and had no hair (which for me was a constantly hard reminder of what we were going through). While Fuller had a great day filled with family and friends Chelsea spent another day fighting for her life which she did mostly with a smile on her face. I am sure that your has similar stories so I guess all I am trying to say is...your amazing little girl should make a wish and your wonderful family should have the vacation of a lifetime.

I have enjoyed your PTR, watching the Big Gives arrive and been thankful for your help with our trip planning. I can't wait to hear about your trip and the great time Juliana has at the tea party.

Yes, of course you've all done Disney before, but this is such a different kind of "Do Disney", doncha think? I imagine every moment her survivor status, her very life and celebrating that will be on your mind. Every time you look through your camera, every time you see her in one of the big Give outfits, every time you go back at night to The Village. This will truly be a once in a lifetime trip for her!! So celebrate big!!

Hey Tim! So glad to hear Ana is going to the tea party. I sure she will have a blast. Wow, looks like she hit the jackpot with all those wonderful gifts the Wish Granters gave her. You, Melody and Ana deserve everything for all you've been through. Bet Ana is buzzing around like a little bee from all the excitement.

How exciting Ana's getting her tea party! She must be through the moon right now! And don't feel guilty about your trip. I remember back when my cousin was getting her wish, I think I was 14 and VERY shallow at the time, and couldn't understand why a 5 year old would wish to go to Disney, when her parents were already planning a trip down there, and she could have anything else she wanted! Did not make any sense to my shallow Jonathan Taylor Thomas obessed brain (meeting him I am fairly positive is what I said MY wish would have been). They ended up paying for part of the trip themselves because MAW put them in a Motel 6, but now that I am older and no longer shallow (at least I don't think I am) I can totally see why a kid would want to pick Disney. I keep going back and non-Disney lovers (yes they do exist) keep asking why I keep going to the same place over and over, short answer I love it, it is a great escape from Reality. Ana has been through a lot in 5 short years, she deserves to have her Disney dreams come true! I cannot wait to hear how this trip went! You are all going to have the time of your lives, you have all been through a lot with her illness and you and Melony deserve this as much as Juliana does. So enjoy every minute of it!

I guess it is a natural feeling to feel weird with the situation. We have worked so hard for everything we have and to have this (for lack of a better term) handed to us makes me feel guilty. I know Juliana is deserving and I do feel better today. Thank you and everyone else for the positive comments.

I think Juliana's granters bought out the Disney store.. The Cinderella dress is gorgeous! Juliana was shy for about 30 seconds when the granters got here. Then she went into silly mode!

Thanks for the story. That stinks that MAW put them up in a Motel 6... I hope they still had an amazing trip. We have some friends who don't 'get' the whole Disney thing... but hey, to each their own. I know that Juliana will find magic at GKTW, Disney, SeaWorld, and US.
