WHEW.... made it though a long weekend. 3 Weddings and a party. I was passed out early on the couch last night.

You must be exhausted!!!

Oh yea the wig has been returned and Melody bought her a red Snow White headband from the Disney store. It looks like we will have ourself the first blond snow white.

And she will be the prettiest Snow White ever!!!


Glad you got the card... She had fun making it and picking out the silly bands for you and Mark.

We love them; I'm wearing both now because I didn't trust Mark to wear his to work (I only let him wear his at night )




Juliana wanted to send Kathy one of her toys at first. I suggested something a little smaller.

Well, I finally show up to update my TR and what do I get sidetracked with???

I'm SO happy Juliana was chosen to be part of a Big Give. Although, you're so involved in everyone else's PTRs and the Wish Trip thread, I knew she would.

I love her first two gifts! The dress is adorable on her, and I have to admit, I was secretly hoping one of my girls would get an I-spy so that I could play with it. I bet you ALL enjoy it.

Well, Juliana will be the cutest blond Snow White to ever have graced Disney! My youngest DD sweet talked her grandmother into buying her that hideous Snow White wig. I believe it lasted all of 2 hours before it was a mangy mess.

Her sweet little thank you card is so precious! And what a generous girl to part with 2 of her silly bands! I'm telling ya, they're like gold! KatMark should feel honored!

Ok, I'm done watching that December ADR thread but I have a new thread obsession that is equally ridiculous that I just have to share. It's over on theme park boards and is quite heated actually. Want to know what it's about?? Letting a child in front of you to view the parade. I swear it's the honest to goodness truth. People are saying they don't care, nobody (not even a child) is allowed to step in front of them or obscure their coveted parade view in any way. Seriously, it's one of the most ridiculous threads I've read in awhile. Who wouldn't let a child stand in front of you? Of course I would and have but there are plenty who claim they won't, not even if the child were polite in asking.

Hey Tim, been a while since I posted … but enjoyed catching up with you and your family ... seeing the big smiles on Princess Ana's face opening her gifts, in her beautiful Minnie dress ... just makes my day! Loved the I Spy bag and Kathy and Mark’s t-shirt. Never heard of the BigGive before reading about it here, but what a wonderful organization!!

And, just have to add because I know you kind of like the Yankees , but we are going to Game 1 of the ALCS!! Yeah!!

We feel very lucky to be asked to be part of the Big Give.

I wish I had more time to follow everybody but there isn't enough time.

WOW... just WOW. I cannot believe it. I even went over and peeked at it. I think it is best if I stay away from that thread.

The wig actually looked used (I know it wasn't, well, at least I hope it wasn't!) and then just proceeded to get uglier, more frazzled and then ended up looking like roadkill or something.

Ya, that thread is insane. I read some of the most selfish posts I've ever read over there. People were all like 'it's my vacation, my money spent and I deserve my spot, why give it up for child who's parents didn't secure a better spot?' Crazy I tell ya. Then it morphed into a debate as to whether kids are more entitled than adults because adults are the ones paying, not the kids. I just can't imagine shoving a child out of the way or telling them that no, they can't stand in front of me because I was here first. Uh, hello, I'm an adult and not in Kindergarten anymore so I really don't think the whole "I was here first" is applicable!

Anyone who wouldn't let a child stand in front of them does not have the Disney spirit !!I too get upset when adults come strolling up and stand in front of me but the CM's usually move them along and don't let them squeeze their way in so I just wait for that to happen but a kid come on!!!

Wow Tim, a lot of great updates I missed over a very busy weekend! All caught up now. Love all the gifts Juliana got! What a great group of people to do such wonderful work!!! Such a special little girl and family to receive such blessings after all the challenges you have had! Not surprised she chose the package with the princess on it first, and she definitely looks like a little princess in her Christmas dress! What a beautiful job and love that went into such a wonderful creation for her, and all the gifts she received! And the best part is that she isn't handling any of this selfishly, but is doing such a great job giving her love back in her own way with her special thank you's! What a special little girl!!!!!!
