Are the fireworks the same as Wishes or are they different?

I didn't see that anyone had answered this, so I'll jump in. We were at one of the MVMCP's in December 2009, and the fireworks were different than Wishes.

Thank you for your nice & kind words. We are getting very excited for our trip although it feels like it is so far away.

I'm in the shock/comedy stage now. I think I may have skipped a few stages though! It's still pretty unbelievable.

You should have Juliana call for those ADR's! What CM would say no to a sweet little girl! That could work you know! Imagine how adorable it would be..."hello Disney, this is Julianna. I'd like to eat at Cinderella's Royal Table but my parents tell me it's booked. Have you seen how cute I am? No? My dad will email you a pic and then you'll agree that I BELONG in that castle. LOL I tried to use 'We are on a Wish Trip' with the CMs on the phone but it didn't get me anywhere. One time I did have a very nice CM who was trying everything for me but she still wasn't able to get us CRT or BBB at the castle. I was on the phone with her for at least 30 minutes.

I do remember you TR with the characters. You've got the right idea! My family and I were at Disney nearly the same time you all went and ate at pretty much all the same places! And ya, we're big into breakfast at Disney. Our plan is usually to arrive at a particular park with an ADR before it opens. That way you get amazing pics of an uncrowded park, breakfast and characters all at once. It's genius I tell you!

I feel that you can ever eat at too many character meals. We love them. We have done CP and H&V before park opening and it was really neat.

Yup, we're only 14 days away. I can't believe it, it seemed so far off months and months ago and here it's only 2 weeks away now! My DD's are counting the days. OK, so are DH and myself! Can't wait!

Tim, I just looked and saw that Garden Grove has a 5PM on Dec. 4th open for 7 people. (includes Characters- Rafiki, Goofy, Timon, Pluto)

Maybe I need to hire you to book all my ADR next time!

Last week, I went out to get the mail and there was an plain envelope from Lake Buena Vista, FL. I knew what was in there but I let Juliana open it.

She was VERY curious of what could be in here...

What could it be??

Our MVMCP tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They were on the regular 'celebrate' tickets but we didn't care. We got Mickey Mail!!!! We are going on Thursday December 2nd. I hope it is going to be nice out.




Secondly, on Saturday, Juliana received a package in the mail. Hummmm what could it be????

Have you ever tried opening on of these boxes? Man they are hard! You'd probably end up with this face once you were able to get it opened!

She stuck her hand into the box and pulled out....

MICKEY SOAP!!!!!

A beautiful princess t-shirt!!!! It was pink too!!!!!!

There was more in the box so she dug in again and found princess SILLY BANDS!!!!

She loved her silly bands and had to spread them all out to see which ones she got.

She found a note for her..

Juliana loved all her gifts! She was ready to use the Mickey soap last night!

Thank you Kathy and Mark for Juliana's wonderful gifts! (one of those hugs is for Mark!) Mark did a great job picking out the shirt!! She was so excited and a little perplexed on why she was getting them. The last thing out of the box was the cute Snow White bag that you put in there too. LOL I guess that is what happens when you let a 4yr open it up.



Thirdly, Juliana was selected for the BIG GIVE!!!!! What is the Big Give you ask? Let me quote Maroo- taken from the Wish Trippers thread.....

The Big Give was inspired by Oprah's Big Give (the TV show). It is a group of ladies and men on the DISboards that make custom clothes for families that need some pixie dust. It started with an active DISer that lost a son in a drunk driving accident only days after returning from Disney World. When it was time for their family to go back to Disney, the DISboutiquers made the family clothes to help make their trip extra special.

This first Give went so well, that they have continued the tradition. Now they mainly select Wish Families.

The Big Give is not in any way affiliated with MAW, Disney, GKTW or even officially by the DISboards. It is just a group of very kind ladies and men that just want to bless families that they come to know on the DIS. It is a completely volunteer thing.

The organizers try to include every single MAW family that they "meet" and get to know on the DIS.

I already spilled the beans on this once I found out but I quickly edited my post because I was supposed to keep it a secret! Thank goodness the coordinator (Wendy) didn't yell at me. (Thanks Wendy!!!! LOL)

I have no idea what Juliana will receive but just wait till you guys see the work that the people from the DISbotiquers Big Give do. It is amazing!




Fourth, still no word about the Tea Party from MAW. So we are still waiting to hear.

Very late to this but just had to subscribe. It looks like we will be at WDW at the same time and are from the same neck of the woods. Your DD is absolutely gorgeous. So glad you get to enjoy WDW.

Ok, how cute is Juliana opening her box? Warning, warning, cuteness overload! She looked thrilled with her gifts, so sweet. Ah, silly bands (or is it bandz?). I have 3DD so just try to guess how many of those ridiculous things are in my house? About a million I'd guess. The first time I bought them for DD's, they gave them all away! So I had to explain that while that was a very sweet thing to do, they do cost $. Their answer was of course that I could just buy some more! Sure, and money grows on trees, right?

How great that Juliana was picked for the big give!!! She totally deserves it and I'm sure will receive adorable stuff. I too have seen some of what they send and it's so cute and a very generous thing to do! You'd better post pics when she gets it or else KatMark might get pushy again! Just kidding!
