The Trip Is On!!! Trip report starts on pg. 39

yup another trip for fun. have AP now and kids are out of school for a week so eh.....let's go to DL!! I would like to plan a partial trip NO kids but that will be in the future. Good for you for getting away for just some girl time and then some HUBBA HUBBA time!!!



OK so what's the deal with the cupcakes? What makes them sooo special? Do tell, do tell.

I put a link in the thread before, but they are the fancy type cupcakes that you see on TV. And my 17 year old daughter loves sweets. She wanted Tigger Tails but Pooh's Corner is closed so I won't be bringing those home.

Well, I saw them in hard plastic containers. And we are renting an Impala to drive down for just two of us, I figure there will be room in there for them.

oh yes and showed the kids the turkeys and the sooo want to go. Thanks for sending the pix. It even got my grumpy teen excited.

well I guess my next question would be are you getting one for yourself so you wont' be tempted? I know that if I had to transport someone else's cupcake....let's jsut say it wouldn't make it. I have the biggest sweet tooth besides my dd of course. I'll have to look up the bakery and see what the hubub is about.

It is a great place. And there is a beach, I wouldn't swim at it but I have seen people swimming at it. You're welcome. My grumpy teens love it there.

I will have to have something to snack on you're right. Maybe I will get fudge for the trip home from Marceline's. I love their marbled fudge. We had it in June and OMG!!

Tried to reread some of the previous posts and came across Village Haus' pastrami cheeseburger. Mentioned it to my dh and HE added that to our "must do list"!!! To a man's heart is through his stomach

I got the most entertaining mail today. I got a packet type thing from Disney thanking me for making my reservation with a booklet about Disneyland and a planning DVD. What a way to get me more excited!!

I have old planning dvds and I had pulled one of the old ones to watch but I got the new one today. I love it!!

Netflix has the behing the scenes of Disneyland on instawatch and let's just say if it was a video tape it would be worn out!

The commissary had left over Advent calendars and I grabbed 6 of them and now we have a chocolate countdown to our trip!!!

Oh yummy. That is a great way to countdown. For our last trip I made a paper chain with quotes from Disney movies and such behind it.

I need to make lists!! Lots, and lots of lists!! I was wondering what I could do, that was planning without really planning, and wonderful Kelly(Trentmom) asked if I had started making lists. Consider those bad boys started!! I have got to remember to get some spray on sunscreen, nothing can make a trip more miserable than sunburn.
