So for those who have read the Coffee Incident, which happened about 30 minutes into our road trip, you'll be glad to know I'm skipping over the next day and a half and pretending we just beamed into Kissimmee from Buffalo.;)

Needed a hotel for one night - cheap, clean that's all I cared about. Well, one out of two ain't bad. Found a Motel 6 in Kissimmee which was really cheap - and boy, was it obvious! They did, as they say, "leave the light on". As a matter of fact, I couldn't get the light OFF. Switch broken? I suppose that might be why. But anyway...

Room was kind of icky, but I decided we needed to find someplace better to take our minds off it. So DH, DD, DD's friend and I all piled into the truck and we took off for Animal Kingdom Lodge. Not to stay there unfortunately, just to look around. Well, it was pouring rain, but we still went outside and saw some animals hanging around eating grass. It was dark out, but those zebras didn't seem to mind the rain or the dark - so we figured why should we?

Animal Kingdom Lodge - WOW! Knocked my socks off. I HAVE to stay there sometime. Made going back to that Motel 6 a VERY painful thing to do.;)

Did the Motel 6 thing overnight, then packed up and SPED over to All Star Movies to pick up our park passes and get the party started!:bounce:

beam me up scottie.......I love All Star Movies too......what a nice place.....maybe no animals.....(except the kids around there) ...but it is a nice place and we will definitely do it again......thanks again

Where can I find the Coffee Incident? My curiosity is getting the better of me.

So they really mean that they will leave the light on for you....lol thanks looking forward to the rest of your trip report.

Grinning Ghost I searched the Parks for you -- where were you!! Hope you had a good trip, ours was great, I think we lucked out with the weather not being too ungodly hot, just one or two days were a little unbearable. BTW you missed a pouring down rain e-night. I'm sure my kids will never forget riding BTMRR in the rain.
