The Trick to Fastpass

i'll never forget the best day ever at MK- every fastpass we got said we could get another in 5 minutes. My friend and I were having a drink break, and the third in our party was supposed to be getting a space mountain FP. He was gone for longer than we expected, and came back with a FP for every single attraction that offered the service. It was awesome. It continued until the FP times ran out at the rides (which didn't take that long).

We usually head towards a ride and I run to the next fastpass line so when that ride is done we can head on over to the next ride. On our last trip I was a fastpass nut. We actually were holding three at one time. Not sure how it worked but it was amazing! Wish I was at the parks now. :cool1:

Maybe these people finished the other things they thought they could do before their fast pass time and got there earlier than they thought they would and are afraid they wouldn't get back during their window if they try to squeeze one more thing in before trying to use their fast pass. If they aren't regulars, they may not know what they can do in a short period of time to fill in the few minutes and just don't know what else to do with their time while they wait.

That is fine but I wish "those people" would not stand in the entrance to the FP line and block access for those who have valid FP's. I see this all the time esp at RnRC and Space Mtn. Stand to the side at least, and why not grab an ice cream or something? Any FP ride has many quick things to do and since the window is 1 hour long plenty of time to do them.

I was trying to politely say, "They don't know no better 'cuz their mammas didn't raise 'em right." :grouphug:

But of course there will always be people that don't have manners. That's why we have road rage today and didn't 25 years ago. We also didn't have people weaving all over the road because they were too busy talking on their cell phones and not paying attention to their driving...or talking at the top of their voices on their cell phones at the next table in a restaurant while others are trying to have a quite meal...or smoking at the entrance to a smoke free restaurant where non-smokers are trying to get in and out of the building without having to pass through a fog of second hand smoke...or using the emergency parking lane as their private passing lane as if their time were more important while everyone else is sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic waiting to get onto the same on-ramp ...etc., etc., etc., :sad2:

I think the computer models that they use vary the return time based on the feedback they've gotten since it was implemented.

I picked up TT tickets on Sunday that said we could get other FP's immediately at another FP station. :cool1:

During April Epcot has been doing an experiment by allowing people to get FPs for everything without waiting, although you can't have more than one for the same attraction until the window starts or two hours have passed.

Cheers.
