I didn't decide to do a TR for this trip until about 15 minutes ago, hence me starting it 2 days before leaving. Oops??

This is my first time doing this, so pardon the many mistakes I am sure to make.

I suppose that I should introduce myself to start off!

My name is Katie and I'm 23 years old. I've loved Disney for approximately my whole life. I have been to WDW more times than I can count and did the CP in Spring 2010. The picture above was taken during my program. I'm on the left messing around with my oldest sister in Chester and Hester's (where I spent a lot of time in really cute dinosaur pants).

I love running, baking, knitting, and hanging out with my awesome family. I enjoy many other things, but those are the front runners. The best part of enjoying running is getting to combine it with my love for Disney World. I have run the Full Marathon twice and have diabolical plans to run as many RunDisney races as possible in 2013.

One final fact about me (for now) is that I rarely, if ever, act my age. Photographic evidence, also from my CP:

Now would also be a good time to introduce my traveling buddy on this trip. My older sister (but not the oldest one pictured above) Whitney.

Yes, she is absolutely stunning. In addition to that, she is the member of the family who comes closest to loving WDW as much as I do. I definitely still beat her out (which she would readily agree with), but she is a not-so-distant second. She is the funniest person I know and she usually lets me get away with acting like a child without judging me too harshly. She also enjoys running, so I can occasionally convince her that it's a good idea to run races with me. We ran the Atlanta Half Marathon together last year on Thanksgiving.

And now it is time for me to get ready for/ go to work. I plan on posting all of our trip/travel details when I get home!

Well. Updating with details when I got home from work certainly didn't happen. Oh, well. No time like the present!

This trip will be incredibly short, with the sole purpose of it being to run the inaugural Tower of Terror 10 Miler. Which seems less "inaugural" since there was already the extremely similar 13K, but I'll take it.

I will be traveling with my aforementioned older sister Whitney. Our dates are September 28 - September 30. And yes, September 28 is TOMORROW!!! Woo!

We are staying one night (Friday night) at All-Star Sports. "But your dates go through Sunday," you say. Yes, this is true. However, we are running at 10pm on Saturday and then hitting up the Villains Hollywood Bash until around 4am Sunday morning. We would like to be back home in time for church on Sunday afternoon/evening, so we are driving home from the Bash. Didn't make much sense to pay for another night of a hotel room that we wouldn't really use.

We have one ADR, which for the sake of surprising my sister will remain heavily shrouded in mystery. I will tell you that it is for breakfast at 11:05am on Saturday morning. Got to get a big breakfast in for the race!

Everything is almost all ready to go and I'm super excited. I have our race waivers printed, I've signed my mom (and myself) up for runner tracking, I've already taken advantage of online check-in, and I went and got my oil changed today.

All that's left to do is pack. I'm planning on packing tonight so that we can pack all of our stuff into the car before tomorrow. Whitney has to work until 5ish, so I'm going to meet her when she gets off and we'll drive down. Having the car ready to go will save precious time. The upside is that the works in Atlanta (as opposed to 25 minutes north where I am), so by the time we meet up, we will have less traffic to sit in. I just get to sit in it by myself on the way down to her. Lucky me!! :lmao:

I think that about covers everything so far, but because I am a firm believer in having pictures in posts, I'll leave you with this one. It's from New Year's Eve 2007 (going into 2008), but it's one of my favorites of the two of us.
