WOW! I'm curious about the shoes...how many pairs did they consider to be a "year's supply"?

It was 12 pairs of shoes (one per month) and I had no choice in the color or style. So opening them up was like Christmas! It really was cool ... at the time...The bad thing was I won the shoes before I was pregnant and as you women know, your shoe size can increase afterwards. Yep, none of the shoes fit me comfortably afterwards so I recently gave them away to my sister and on Freecycle.

I don't know about shoes but I won a years supply of Skinny Cow ice cream a few months ago in a scrapbooking contest.

They sent me coupons for 48 free boxes. I guess we have to go four weeks without one!:)

Woo-Hoo! :cool1: Ice Cream party is DisneyFalcon's room!

Perhaps they figure most people go on the "Oh My GOSH!...I ate too much during the Holidays" diet in January and therefore you don't need that 4 weeks worth of ice cream.
Odd that ice cream would be the prize for a scrapbooking contest. You would think coupons for scrapbooking supplies would be a better fit. Unless they figure that you will dish up the ice cream and look over your books. WHO CAN EVER FIGURE OUT THESE CONTESTS?!

Here’s a photo that my kids are sure to love! ‘Looks like Dinky Donald got a little face-time with the Playhouse Disney characters.

Okay! 'Looks like I’ve got them all! (That's all, folks! :) )

We interrupt this Dinky Donald Update for a very important bulletin. Ben & Jerry's is giving away free ice cream cones today only from 12-8pm (I think). Click on the image above to find the closest store to you that is participating. Hopefully the RV is near one so everyone can make one trip.

In closing...please vote again today for my shopping bag design. :)
Vote more than once using different PC's. :thumbsup2

So as I finalize my schedule, I thought I'd list some highlights or new things for me and ask for suggestions/hints. If you've done any of these before, let me know the good, bad and the ugly!

- Minnie's Butterfly Garden
I loved it! It's quite small, but there are lots of butterflies!
Here are my 2 favorite shots - even tho the second one shows butterflies can't read!

- Coral Reef/Epcot
Really enjoyed this - it's worth the expense to dine with the fishes! You just don't want to sleep with them! :rotfl2:

- Yak & Yeti (Counterservice)/AK
Average Chinese fast food, not bad. Think Panda Express.

- Mickey's Pirate and Princess Party
I really enjoyed the "different" parade - lots of horses, so if your daughter likes them, it may be worth it. The fireworks are also special, and fun, and I liked seeing folks in costume. Because it was busy during regular hours, it was nice to have the park less crowded.

- San Angel Inn/Epcot
I enjoy this - although it is kind of pricey, even for an Epcot table service. I prefer Morocco!

Jennifer, KigerKat, BTM – have any of you heard from Tripp? I know he is extremely disappointed with the outcome of the CMO contest and he’ll need some time to heal. We really do miss him. If any of you get a chance to talk to him, be sure to tell him we’d like to hear from him. To repeat what someone said several posts back, it’s too bad we can’t have co-CMO’s.

Jennifer – It’s good to hear you were able to enjoy your “business” trip to WDW. Where are the pictures?

Hello,

He is very busy playing "catch-up" at work. My husband talked to him and he had such a great experience with the contest. I just called my hubby to pass a message along to Tripp but he had already left. I will be sure he updates him tomorrow.

I will get the pics off of the camera soon. I really pay for being out of work and I am leaving next Wed for a 3 day trip. I promise to have pics soon.

We ate at California Grill and then watched Wishes from the catwalk on the top of the hotel. It was amazing!!!!

During our backstage tour, we came in behind Frontierland. I am proud to say that I was the only one in the group that knew which land we were in and that SM was on the left as we were walking in and POTC was on the right. The tour guide gave me a Tinkerbell figurine for answering so many of his questions.

I could not get enough! I loved going into the Utilidors and experiencing that side of Disney.

Very cool! Go Jenn! :cheer2: Go Jenn!!

OK, I just can't get motivated to pack for this trip...think I will finish my accordian book itinerary first...that's more fun than packing...

I may need to declare a No Dis day for me, just to pack...

Very nice! 'Seems I remember you mentioning that before -- waaaay back in one of our earlier threads!

(Prize goes to the first person who can name the exact thread, page and post numbers... Just kiddin' )

Oops, yes I did sorry. I'll stop talking about myself after this post. What I didn't mention again was this was one of the first prizes. The grand prize was a trip to WDW!! I should have spent a little more time on that page!

Okay!! Ya'll come!! But I've got some cleaning to do first!!

Skinny Cow was at the last scrapbooking convention I was at. They were giving away ice cream and promoting themselves as a great snack to have while scrapbooking. This was a contest they did with Creating Keepsakes magazine. They were the sponsor so that's why I won ice cream. It is quite yummy I must say!:)

No need to apologize! :flower3: I like the personal stories! (Keep 'em coming! :thumbsup2 )

It's all coming back to me now: You mentioned your prize after Ann said that she received a game of Scrabble -- or something similar -- as a consolation prize when the her local radio station canceled the "Family [Game] Day" in which she was supposed to compete. (Grand prize would have been a trip to Disney World. :scared1: )

Walt Disney World ... Scrabble. Walt Disney World ... Scrabble. (Somehow, I find the alternate prize wanting! )

******

Walt Disney World .... Ice cream. Walt Disney World .... Ice cream.

I have to admit, though, your prize does trump Scrabble -- as much as I love that game! :upsidedow

Yes that was it!! I couldn't remember the circumstances!! Skinny Cow absolutely trumps scrabble.

OH MY GOSH!!! Your memory is great!

I even forgot about that as I was reading it......that family game day thing was supposed to be my big win as per Tooth!

I got Monopoly Here and Now. I even remember opening it because it was around the time of the infamous "packages" that were to be arriving to the winners.

Remember way back when.....checking your caller id, email and looking for Fed Ex and UPS????? :sad2:

Like it was yesterday!!! Or wait, did I do that yesterday?

Oh, and on a side note: We had some very severe weather here this afternoon. Tornado's hit in Suffolk, Virginia which is about 40 miles from our house. We were well away from the tornado but had some NASTY storms... I do have many relatives in Suffolk in the actual neighborhood...but all are safe. Just wanted to pass that on in case anyone watched the news at all. The Fleagles are safe and sound and snug as a bug in a rug...oh wait....not bugs again. :scared1: Let's just say we're fine and dandy, just like candy!

-Have a great night everyone!

I was thinking about you all day today when I saw the headlines this morning. Bobbie has physical therapy 1st thing in the morning and I didn't get time to post. I'm glad to hear you are okay with no damage. Also glad to hear family is okay. I was sure that it was somewhat near to your home.

Marshay, after physical therapy I went to work for a few hours and then stopped at Hobby Lobby and bought 4 new punches as they were 1/2 price. All of their papers & cardstocks were 1/2 price too so I got several sheets (12x12 4/$1 and 8.5 x 11 were 8/$1) Great deals! Wish you were here!

HA! For those of us who never even managed to enter the contest (Tooth, you still with me? ;) ), there really was no need to check!

Good for you!

I'm waiting to purchase down in Orlando...I'm hoping Disney came out with new scrapbook supplies, esp ones with Disney Hollywood Studios.

Kenny.... I just went through your pics.... love it! Made me want to be there.

I wanna go back!!!

Yeah, more Dinky Donald!!! I wonder how much of the Kitchen Sink Donald ate!

Donald didn't get much because Justin's clan was pretty hungry. The four of them ate a whole sink!

I'm so glad we all got to enjoy that together.

Isn't it neat to see how the pixie dust appears when you cross the yellow line?

Old Key West was beautiful and relaxing.

Tripp got to practice on Jordyn's face for competition. It's on the Itunes video and I'm in there briefly too.

Here's a pic of my baby. She finally made the 40" mark and first ride on Soarin'. Guess what her Dad did, after many tries, he caught the golf ball for her!
