I must stop skimming the posts......thought you were saying something about crystal meth......:scared1:

:scared1: Nope, nothing anywhere close! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

"Great job!" says the very crafty non-scrapper who used to believe all scrappers were in a cult........and is now rethinking that......cause what cult would cut out waves for a boat picture or put an autograph book on a hotel door for fun......the non-scrapper thinks maybe she should try it sometime

C'mon, Ann, all the cool people are doing it!! :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Hello! I feel like every time I come on here I'm apologizing for something! This time, it's because I WAY underestimated how much work I had to catch up on - so I haven't been able to visit since my initial "thank you" post. It looks like I need to get caught up on the new "we be trippin'" thread as well.

Now it's time for me to surf back a few pages (more like a few dozen pages!) and try to figure out what is going on in everyone's lives these days!

Thanks again for everything!

Welcome back Justin, I can imagine how much catching up you have after the contest, just playing tour guide on the Xctry trip has backed me up around here!

But seriously, WHO exactly did we tick off so much that we have a permanent black cloud hovering over us?

Sorry to hear once again of the Fleagle luck, but this statement reminds me of an episode of the Flintstones when the Gruesomes moved in next door...

Barney - Hey Fred, whats that thing over the moving van?
Fred - Just a little storm cloud Barney.
Barney - Look, its moving over the house now!
Fred - Must be one of those "local" showers.
Barney - Over ONE house???
Fred - Nature has many strange secrets Barney.

Thanks to the Screaming Blue Messiahs song "Wanna be a Flintstone" for the walk down memory lane.

Two Words -- Pool Boy!!!;)

I thought the same thing! :rotfl2:
Have you ever seen the skits on "In Living Color", "Cabana Chat" with Pool Boy??
Cant seem to find a clip on youtube, but found lots of Fire Marshall Bill, He was always my favourite and have always been hoping Jim Carrey would bring back the role in a movie.

Hope these bring a laugh for you

There are afew more if you would like me to post links.

All good thoughts and :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes to the Fleagles. Bugs - why did it have to be bugs!!! And then scary pizza on top of everything else :scared1: .

Those times where you're trying to go one step ahead and instead you end up steps back are so hard. I've just had a number of days in a row like that too, so much so that I am sure I did something really horrible in a former life. The great thing is to get here and catch up, be able to commiserate and also to laugh and laugh.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

and again :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

and yet again! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Also, Cat's barrel plan and new signature piece: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Thanks, tothesea, for Mickey's fine adventures and give a kiss to sweet Zoe from me!

madbrad - Thanks for offering to have a pool party. I'll bring the Tiki torches!

I feel so much better now!!

Second the motion on all of the above!

Hi everyone! Looks like I found some of the "Fleagle" luck too!

Yesterday was just great......kids were swimming in our pool (chilly but beautiful)......I was even thinking about the people on this board and the challenges being faced........talked to my husband about it all and just took in our fortunate moment.

Then the rain came and came and came and came. Six inches of rain in a matter of a couple of hours. Drought schmout!

We came home after playing wicked rounds of Euchre with some life-long friends. In fact, due to the extensive rain, we drove an elderly couple home to make sure they got home safely.

Checked on my pool when we got home, and the liner was FLOATING IN THE POOL! FLOATING IN THE POOL!!! I was heartsick.

Got up this morning to what looked like a swamp and just was lost. That said, I also turned to my husband and said, this is not a terminal illness. This is simply a pool. Yes, I was and am completely bummed, but as we had neighbors here helping us with pumps and all......my next door neighbors also stopped by.

These neighbors have just lost their home. Foreclosure. Can I tell you how horrible it felt to see them in my backyard and offering ME support?! We have tried everyway we could to save their home for them but it still felt so wrong. Again, perspective really helps ground us.

Also, this week my daughter's lymph node was enlarged and painful to the touch.....googling is both a blessing and a curse.........it was on my mind and I was going to take her in on Monday if it didn't go down.....it did go down today! So see, the perspective was wonderful. I cried as I told my kids that the pool is just a pool and Karen's lymph node meant so much more to me than any pool!

Kinda puts a hold on our plans to build on to the house. We were going to add a bathroom with a shower and doors to the living room so there would be a bedroom on the first floor. I wanted to add this for my parents if they ever need to come here and stay with us.

But I just baked brownies and orange bars (Paula Deen's OH MY!) for the people who helped and realized although my luck was definitely not good today......it was an awesome day! A few good friends here to help, an awards ceremony for my children who BOTH won a state writing award and we took my parents and family out to eat afterwards!

And I talked about all of YOU too at dinner! The board, the contest, the winner (Yay Justin) and all of it! Oh, and my sister just got back from Disney World and gave me a Mickey pancake mold and Mickey ice cube tray.

So pool party at my house.....just not today, okay?

Sorry to hear about all of this, more Pixie dust to your daughter.

love disney

HMMMMMMM...........:confused3

OK, my last post showing off our Disney crafts (or at least the last one for tonight!! :rotfl2: )

Here are this year's tie dye shirts.

I really like them and all the colors and patterns that show up. We added the Mickey swirl this year with a bleach pen.

My critique: If we do this next time, we won't let the bleach sit so long since it really made our fuschia turn pink. Also, we put the swirls a little too close together. But no worries, we learn a little more each time we do these.

The back of the shirts:

I really like the sunburst pattern around the back of my MH.

Love the shirts!!!

Hey...one more thing....

Something occurred to me the other day, yes, I did actually HAVE a thought! Yay for me! Let me know how you feel...

I would love to have some addresses for our family here. Not only would we love to add you all to our Christmas card list, but we would love a way to stay in contact. Maybe some of you feel the same?

I did have most everyone's addresses when you PM'd me for the CMO pins. I kept them for awhile, but then I deleted them feeling like it might be inappropriate for me to hang on to them. So, I would be happy to put together a contact list for anyone who is interested. I'm not sure of the etiquette about this, so if it's a big no no then never mind. Otherwise, you could contact me and give me whatever info you feel comfortable with.
Disname, real name, address, email address, phone.....any and all of it would be completely optional. I don't know, what do you think? Maybe? Maybe not? :confused3

I'm in. Will pM you the info.

Sorry, been recovering from front row Van Halen in Dallas last Thursday. We were right there with Valerie Bertinelli, who was there to see her son Wolfgang on bass. :hippie:

Welcome back Lurker!
How are the eardrums???

Ok, caught up again, now back to Part 2 of the Toronto leg of the road trip.

Welcome back, Jennifer!! Glad to hear you had such a great tripp (hahaha!)! I can't wait to see your pictures!!

That is some seriously funny stuff! Thanks for the laugh...I needed it! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey, Jennifer! So how was Disney? You were there for a business trip, right?

How cool! If you got to do business, why not at WDW?

Welcome back!

DH and I did the shirts together while DD was sleeping! :goodvibes

I mostly do my crafts while DD is napping -- thank God for naps or I wouldn't get anything done!

:cloud9: Ah, yes, naps. I remember those. Too bad my kids are 10 and 5. They wouldn't know what a nap was even if it hit them square in the back of the head! Even when they were both at that napping age, they only took them when they were too tired to hold their heads up and their eyes open. Enjoy the naps while you can. :cloud9:

LOL! And then after you do that, you slap a big ol' dollop of real whipped cream on the top!

I had no idea who Paula Deen was until after DH and I ate at her restaurant in Savannah a couple of years ago. We were only there for three days, and ate there twice - it was so good!!

Then I found out who she was and started watching her on the Food Network - she cracks me up with all the sour cream, mayonnaise, bacon, whip cream, butter and frying she does!! And it's all soooooo good.....maybe not so good for you, but when you taste it, do you really care?? (Ann - disregard everything I just said!)

**just a note....we're getting closer and closer to the page max on this thread, although we're posting at a much slower rate than before, but I still think we'll hit it. So where do we go? We Be Trippin is for the road trip, but you more savvy people please let us know where to go. Please. :flower3: **

I agree Mrs. F. I think the DIS-nee family traditon is that when the first person decides it's time for a new thread, that person gets to name it and start it!:goodvibes

I think Mr. F could help you come up with a really good name for the new thread.

Hey fellow DISers. Since we're flying thru this thread faster then any of the previous 2, I figured I would get a head start on the name for the new thread. How about this?

The Disney CMO, DVC, Trip Report, Scrapbooking, Home Decorating, LGMH, Flat Mickey/Skinny Minnie/Dinky Donald Adventures Thread.

DCMO, DVC, TR, SB, HD, LGMH, FM/SM/DD AT for short

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl:

What do you think?

Oops, I guess the first person to at least suggest a name for the next thread would have actually been me! :headache:

Since I did start THIS thread, I think I'll hand the baton over to you! :thumbsup2

Although yours is a fine suggestion...what about something like:

Son of CMO

since we are now beyond the original CMO competion, and are entering the next generation!

Mr. Fleagle suggests "It's all over but the shouting." Ok, I've never heard of that saying before so he said nevermind. Um, I'm not good at this stuff....I just follow along, picking up socks and candy wrappers. How about, "In Justin we trustin" ha ha Seriously, you can pick....I'll just follow. :cutie:

These are both great!! Why not combine together! That would be a cute one!

Since we'll probably start a new thread while I'm in WDW, can someone PM/email once it's up? Since we'll have free internet but I hear it's really slow, any short-cuts would be welcomed.

So as I finalize my schedule, I thought I'd list some highlights or new things for me and ask for suggestions/hints. If you've done any of these before, let me know the good, bad and the ugly!

- Terrace Noodle Station/MK
- Minnie's Butterfly Garden
- Peter Pan's Neverland Garden
- Pluto's Play Zone
- Coral Reef/Epcot
- Grand Floridian Cafe/GF
- Spoodles/Boardwalk
- Yak & Yeti (Counterservice)/AK
- Hollywood and Dine (lunch)/DHS
- Mickey's Pirate and Princess Party
- Ft. Wilderness Segway Tour

- San Angel Inn/Epcot

:earsboy: CONTACT SHEET UPDATE :earsgirl:

After posting my "thought" earlier today we already have 13 disboard family members that want to be added to the contact sheet! Wow...that's exciting...have we even had 13 different people posting lately? That is SO encouraging! Yippee!

So, I'm mostly done, just adding names and addresses as they come in. Remember: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PROVIDE ANY INFO THAT YOU DON'T WANT TO. Some have listed everything, including shirt size, food allergies and their favorite color...ok, just kidding.....but we do have a few who have included birthdays. Some actually would like to send birthday cards...so if you'd like to add your birthday just let me know. (I won't include the year  ) Some included phone numbers....and some not. It is completely up to you! ;)

We are missing a few of the regulars...so not sure if you prefer not to be included or if you just haven't read the post? Either way...no pressure. Also, friends like Meggin, Tripp, KTP, FairyGodMother, Doombuggy, Posetopose, and KDunkin haven't been on in awhile. (anyone else I may have forgotten?) If anyone knows them or can contact them "outside" the board I know we'd love to add them to this list...if they want..... they were all such a part of this from the beginning.

So, how about if we give it through the weekend to get your info in? I'll keep updating as we go and then send everyone a copy once it's all finished. Sound good? :upsidedow

Oh, and on a side note: We had some very severe weather here this afternoon. Tornado's hit in Suffolk, Virginia which is about 40 miles from our house. We were well away from the tornado but had some NASTY storms... I do have many relatives in Suffolk in the actual neighborhood...but all are safe. Just wanted to pass that on in case anyone watched the news at all. The Fleagles are safe and sound and snug as a bug in a rug...oh wait....not bugs again. :scared1: Let's just say we're fine and dandy, just like candy!

-Have a great night everyone!

Ha! I still can't believe we're working on a name for our FOURTH thread!

I'm honored - and flattered - by the suggestions, but I'm not sure I can stand up to the pressure of having it named after me!

I will suggest - if I may be so bold - that we could use one of my CMO words in the title if you want. Something like 'The Adventurosity Club' (sort of a take on the Adventurer's Club on Pleasure Island) or possibly 'Possivisionouragists 'r Us' since you are all some of the most positive, creative and encouraging people I know!

Just a thought . . . I'll leave the actual decision in the hands of thos who are significantly more qualified than me! (that would be you guys!)

AND I hope we will see the mugs of those not on before!! You all saw sixty seconds of my video (and the handsome one on youtube from last year's contest) (type jungle cruise audition) (OK, so I look better from a distance)

But its is not FAIR to us with a video not to get to see the ones without a video. And Amy, please, do not post a pic in your Wonder Woman costume, my heart couldn't take it, kick, shuffle, heart attack!

that's SO great! What great ideas! Then again, I guess that's why they made YOU the CMO!! Why didn't anyone suggest asking you first...hmm...:confused3

I know I'm not a frequent-er or main character here, but I vote for Adventurosity or possivi...err..yeah, what he said!!!! :thumbsup2
