Ok - sent you a pm...:thumbsup2

Oh, I have to find someone with kids to go to a Disney park with! I've never gotten to do that!

Any volunteers? :)

Cat
I could pretend to be a kid. ;)

So tons of good news coming out of Taunton this evening!

All of the test results are back on my mother in-law.... the cancer hasn't spread anywhere, so they started here on chemo treatments today! The oncologists was concerned because of other symptoms that it might have spread to other areas... but she got the all clear.

And the other good news is.... I finally got a job!!! About time also.... this unemployment thing was killing me. So I'll be able to put my nursing assistant license to some good use.... I got a day shift at a nursing home very close to the house (which is nice considering the price of gas) and orientation is next Wednesday!

Yaaaaay!!!!!

Oh, Oh, pick us, pick us!! :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: We'll do it!! It is so much fun to see Disney through a child's eyes. But Cat, you don't need a child along to do that. I mean this is the most sincere and complimentary way. You have the gift of childlike joy in all you do! You already see Disney through a child's eyes.

But, if you REALLY want to experience it, we'd love to have you tag along. You could see through the eyes of a teen and a wee one. I can't WAIT to take Bobbie to WDW! She's been making huge leaps developmentally in the last few weeks. Today she said E-I-E-O when Katie was singing "Old MacDonald" to her. She also blew me kisses and said "Bye". You'd have to know that this is an almost 2 year old who up until about 3 weeks ago had a vocabulary of about 4 words and you could only really understand two of them. We rejoice in the small things and they become big things!

Hooray on both counts! I'm so happy for both things, but especially thrilled about your MIL.

Hey Suz D!!
I was just about to offer my 2 boys for a week....without the wife and myself of course...:rotfl2:

Did I say that...errr.....type that out loud????:confused3

Hey all of you out in Washington...I'm coming out that way towards the end of June beginning of July with Katie. If I make it to Seattle I'd love to see some of you. We moved to Indiana in 2002 after living in Ellensburg for 6 years. We're going back to see friends in E-burg and some friends in Idaho. I'll keep you posted on dates and perhaps we could do lunch at Ivers or Zoopa by Southcenter mall or at the food court at Crossroads mall. Those were some of our favorite places to dine!

David and Vickie would love to see you.

So tons of good news coming out of Taunton this evening!

Many congrats on the test results and the job!

I was thinking of you tonight and saying that the nursing home where you will work is one lucky place! With all your enthusiasm and willingness to learn, the folks in the home are going to be truly blessed by you. I bet you are going to be one of the most popular nurses. You have a wonderful opportunity to really bless these elderly folks!

This is absolutely wonderful news!!!

David and Vickie would love to see you. Our cell

That would be great! Will you drive your cute little car?

David and Suz -- I'd recommend deleting your cell phone from the DIS post. Remember this thread is watched by many folks...probably not the best to give such personal info out...

See what our passion for Disney and our support of one another can do? It can help make dreams come true. And if our own dreams don't quite happen, then it can be enough that we in some small way helped a friend realize their dream.

Amen to that!

HELLO! I'm sorry I've been out of touch, but things have been pretty crazy (and the laptop that we had in WDW went home a day early with my wife and sister-in-law!) I just got home tonight and wanted to pop on here quickly before I crash!

Thank you so much for the support, encouragement, votes, and congratulations! Please, please, please understand that for me, you are ALL a part of the Dream Squad. You cared enough to vote - but not just vote. You connected with us, you shared laughs and stories with us, and you invested yourselves emotionally in something from which you didn't stand to gain anything. You cared about me. And, because of that, I have had more dreams than I could ever imagine fulfilled.

Thank you!

It is 1:15 in the morning here and I need to get some sleep. I have SO much to do at work these next few days to dig out after the week off. Regardless, I'll try to pop on here when it's a little more active tomorrow so that I can answer the PM's and personally thank as many of you as possible!

Oh - - - also, if you go to www.kdka.com and enter "Muchoney" in the search box, you can see a clip of some neat news coverage. My church threw a breakfast party on Tuesday and the local news station sent a reporter out live to cover the party and the announcement!

Okay, so for now, please let me say again . . . THANK YOU!

Tripp and David (as I said before) are awesome guys. They are incredible people and I am so fortunate to have shared this experience with them. Cathie was magnificent! The support she showed was beyond anything I could imagine - thank you! The Fleagles deserve a special thanks (not just for the votes from the dancers!) but also for taking the time to send a gift bag to the hotel room while I was there. Meggin sent an enormous Mrs. Fields cookie on Tuesday to say congratulations. I know there are dozens of people I can't possibly mention by name tonight (sorry!) who played a huge role in this. Everyone here is incredible and I hope you can see how wonderful our world can be when we all invest ourselves in the lives and dreams of those around us. When you really care about other people, truly anything is possible!!!

Thanks again! I'll see you all tomorrow at some point!!!!

Welcome back Justin!!!

Get some rest and we will see you tomorrow.
Glad all is well.

I am gone too.

Good Night!!
