yeah Justin!!! I'm so happy you posted here -- we wanted to know that our CMO made it home safely!!

We cannot wait to hear everything you're willing to share with us!!!

I could pretend to be a kid. ;)

So tons of good news coming out of Taunton this evening!

All of the test results are back on my mother in-law.... the cancer hasn't spread anywhere, so they started here on chemo treatments today! The oncologists was concerned because of other symptoms that it might have spread to other areas... but she got the all clear.

And the other good news is.... I finally got a job!!! About time also.... this unemployment thing was killing me. So I'll be able to put my nursing assistant license to some good use.... I got a day shift at a nursing home very close to the house (which is nice considering the price of gas) and orientation is next Wednesday!

Yaaaaay!!!!!

:dance3: Oh! That's terrific news, HMFan! Yay for you! (And, Yay for your MIL!) ...Seriously! :dance3:

Welcome back, Justin! (And -- again -- congrats!)

This week has been a bit of a whirlwind for you, huh?

Stephen, I am SO HAPPY for you! What incredible news! I'm sorry I didn't get around to completely catching up with the posts from yesterday.....but here's a big bear hug for you!

A new job AND such encouraging news for your mother-in-law. What a great day at your house! :yay:

We all said it before and we'll say it again, your personality and sense of humor will certainly be an asset to your career. Laughter is such wonderful medicine and I can only imagine how many smiles and laughs you will bring to those patients!

Love ya son! Mommy and daddy are very proud! ;)

JUSTIN

Yay, you made it home safely! You must be physically, emotionally, and mentally completely drained! Everything you've been through the past few months have paid off.....but I bet you'd love a vacation where you and Darrah can just sit in the sun and relax. Breathe in the warm air and take a big exhale! Ahhh......if only there was any rest for the weary, right?

I can't say Congratulations enough...We are truly happy for you.
So happy your dreams came true!

Amy

:drinking1 I'm just drinking my diet coke and greeting the day.

Justin, welcome back!! Loved the news clip. I'm so proud of all you've accomplished. 200,000 votes?!?!?! That's absolutely amazing.

Amy, you never cease to amaze me with your thoughtfulness. A gift bag for Justin. I hope that you know how much your kindness touches other people.

Meggin, if you are lurking, we miss you! MMMMM, giant Mrs. F's cookie. Tasty!

Amen to that!

HELLO! I'm sorry I've been out of touch, but things have been pretty crazy (and the laptop that we had in WDW went home a day early with my wife and sister-in-law!) I just got home tonight and wanted to pop on here quickly before I crash!

Thank you so much for the support, encouragement, votes, and congratulations! Please, please, please understand that for me, you are ALL a part of the Dream Squad. You cared enough to vote - but not just vote. You connected with us, you shared laughs and stories with us, and you invested yourselves emotionally in something from which you didn't stand to gain anything. You cared about me. And, because of that, I have had more dreams than I could ever imagine fulfilled.

Thank you!

It is 1:15 in the morning here and I need to get some sleep. I have SO much to do at work these next few days to dig out after the week off. Regardless, I'll try to pop on here when it's a little more active tomorrow so that I can answer the PM's and personally thank as many of you as possible!

Oh - - - also, if you go to www.kdka.com and enter "Muchoney" in the search box, you can see a clip of some neat news coverage. My church threw a breakfast party on Tuesday and the local news station sent a reporter out live to cover the party and the announcement!

Okay, so for now, please let me say again . . . THANK YOU!

Tripp and David (as I said before) are awesome guys. They are incredible people and I am so fortunate to have shared this experience with them. Cathie was magnificent! The support she showed was beyond anything I could imagine - thank you! The Fleagles deserve a special thanks (not just for the votes from the dancers!) but also for taking the time to send a gift bag to the hotel room while I was there. Meggin sent an enormous Mrs. Fields cookie on Tuesday to say congratulations. I know there are dozens of people I can't possibly mention by name tonight (sorry!) who played a huge role in this. Everyone here is incredible and I hope you can see how wonderful our world can be when we all invest ourselves in the lives and dreams of those around us. When you really care about other people, truly anything is possible!!!

Thanks again! I'll see you all tomorrow at some point!!!!

Congrats Justin! You are an inspiration for all of us here! :thumbsup2

I think I speak for everyone when I say, Your DIS family is proud of you!

HA! Ain't that the truth? This is truly one of those situations where you almost need a vacation after your "vacation"!

(Of course, we all know that you were working really hard on-site, so I wouldn't consider it a "vacation" in the traditional sense! But, hey!, it was Disney! And, you just nailed the new CMO job! I'm sure you thought it was well worth it! ::yes:: )

That said, I'm hoping those last few (non-competition) days brought a slower, more relaxing pace for you and your family!

...Now, back to the daily "grind"...

Oh I am soooo glad to hear this!!! I've been thinking about you guys yesterday and today with all you had going! All clear!!! I'm so happy for her, and for you all! :goodvibes

And another Yay for you for your new job! Although I have a feeling that it will be a huge Yay for the people you will be helping! I don't know if you fully realize it HMF, or not, but you have the personality and the heart that will be a very bright light in so many lives. Sometimes a smile can mean so much, but you have so much more with your quick wit and sense of fun and all your shenanigans--just what people there need! I know that even Thumper would agree! ;)

Congrats Justin! You are an inspiration for all of us here! :thumbsup2

Justin's back!!!!!

And cherbear and everyone are so right--it's so inspiring to actually get to see someone's dream come true! We are so so proud of you Justin! And just so excited for you! Seeing your name unveiled on that giant Disney nametag was truly priceless! I'll never forget it! :goodvibes

I also can't wait to see dreams come true for everyone here! We've got real proof that it does happen!!! :yay:

Thanks for posting this one Wendy!
I looked at it and some of the past ones I had missed. I'm sure you guys probably saw it, but just in case, another one of the blogs posted this link to the Laughing Place, with more pics of some of the CMO happenings!

http://www.laughingplace.com/Lotion-View-633.asp

Thanks for posting THIS one! Look, finally picture proof that I was there! I was in a few flashes of the video from Ricky, but I think these are the first pictures I've seen where I can prove I was there! Yay!

:rotfl: :rotfl:
I was so hoping you would notice!!! I saw you in there too, first thing and was so glad! There's some great pics in there! I guess there were more people there covering it than we thought!

Just popping in for three notes:

1. Congratulations Justin! I'm really happy for you. I think the happiest person at our house is 5 year old Lizzy who accounted for at least 200 of your 200 thousand votes. I hope you have a wonderful year!

2. On a personal note, Amy mentioned that I'm starting something business-wise to help our college funds. One of the temporary side effects is that erickidwell.net is going to go dark for a bit. So... if you are using any of your DIScademy awards or any other images off of the site, you need to copy them and paste them somewhere else as they may not be available from my site starting Monday.

3. I think you are all wonderful. I'm sorry that I haven't been here much, but I'm busy planning my next spectacular failure. (I hope that's a joke)

Here is a nice blog from Brady the LA Times guy...

(...and a nice comment from KTP)

Wendy

Thanks for the link...I kinda forgot to look for other publicity!

Speaking of KTP...anyone heard from him? Do you think he's still at WDW and that's why he's been so quiet?

Maybe he has annual passes, and he got that really great passholder rate that I did!

Good question! :confused3

I've noticed that madbrad has been 'kinda silent the past few nights, too. (That's unlike him.) Has anyone heard from madbrad?

I'm very glad that you are planning--that's exciting! Seems like a lot of you guys here are launching out into new things! It's in my mind too--just gotta take a step!

And how sweet about Lizzy! I hope she knows that she helped make her own magic for someone!

Good to see you pop in fleagle! :goodvibes
