Ooooo.....Nostradismous is back. :woohoo: :woohoo:

OK Everyone.....

Just officially gonna do it! I've made so many friends here....but I MUST throw the Mrs. Fleagle support behind......JUSTIN!

Tripp, I really like you and loved your "in training video", it made me cry. So PLEASE don't take it personal......cuz I do love ya!

BUT,

Since we clearly have so many openly Tripp supporters here (and so many from Georgia) and who aren't reluctant to let it be known, I am making it known that I vote for Justin.

Heres why folks....

Of all the candidates I know that HE knows how much this meant to so very very many of us. Those of us who have PM'd back and forth with our own personal stories (and you all know who you are ;) and there's quite a few ) just know that Justin cares about this contest in a very real way and in the SAME way that we do.

So for those of you with stories behind why you entered this contest or why you got involved on this board, let me assure you that JUSTIN is your man. I truly believe that if he were to become CMO that he would approach every wish granted in a genuine and sincere way. The back stories of these disboarders will live on through his pixie dust.

SO, I AM PROUD TO SAY PUBLICLY THAT I SUPPORT JUSTIN MUCHONEY FOR CMO!
:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Thanks, Amy!!! I am there with you in every way, and appreciate your shouting out! May I join in the the dance, too?

Ok, all caught up.

Cat -- great video!

Tripp -- safe driving and please know you are loved here!

Justin -- happy packing and please know you are loved here!

Whichever of you win (!), it will be great!!

Sorry, but no votes for David here...I don't know him and he purposely chose NOT to get on the DIS.* But maybe he's hoping to be the 3rd party candidate who slides in b/c all the other voters are divided ...

Over and above my regular voting, I do pledge that for each Reality Contest Event DIS winner (IMHO), I will vote an additional 20 times (that's at least 100 votes!).Yep, whomever I think does the best stroller, towel, noise, park and face, will get additional votes from me!* After all, it is a contest!* I like voting for personality but will also award votes for winning the 5 events!

Yeah Nosty!

So will Nosty be making a final prediction on the winner -- perhaps sometime after the events and before April 22nd?

hahahaha.... we don't have to have a "who's got the bigger font" fight here, guys and gals... It is making me laugh though.

I respect the decision of those who choose to support Justin. He's a great guy and would make a wonderful CMO, so would I, and so would David. David hasn't been represented here much if at all, but I did want to commend him. He had some great TV press on two early morning local California TV news shows. He looked great, carried himself well, and was comfortable on camera.

This is going to be a tough final 3. I still haven't decided who I am going to throw my support behind... oh wait, never mind.

I appreciate all of the support that I have gained here and else where. As I have said before, I never expected to make it this far. This was my first venture into any kind of contest. Back when it all started and I saw all of the videos that were coming in after I had uploaded mine, I thought there was no way. I didn't even think they would watch mine. I feel very blessed to have made it this far, and to have met so many wonderful people along the way. I also would like to send out a huge thank you to those who have chosen NOT to support me, as it is you that keeps me working VERY VERY Hard to prove myself.

Congrats and Good Luck to Justin and David! I look forward to meeting you and your families while there. We leave in a few hours.

Also, please no fighting and no biting. Cheer all you want, but don't turn it into anything nasty.

Thanks!

I like your idea there! I think I'm with you there. On top of my regular vote count per day, I'll vote and extra 20 times for the winner of each event (or the top DIS winner! :cheer2: )

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

So, here's my opinion in the form of one of my cheesey videos! The quality is sketchy, but the affection is real!

Oh, and for the record, I got permission from Justin to use screenshots from his video!

Our Friend Justin!
(this is a short musical for Justin!)

What? No singing this time??? (Awwww, Cat! You know we kid, because we love... ;) )

Wonderful post Tripp.....I honestly wouldn't expect anything less from you!!!

p.s. for what it is worth, I have voted for you as well!

I took the NostraDISmous prediction to mean that "the one who chases the ocean birds" was going to say who his favorite was... I have this weird feeling that he is talking about me. Which is extra strange because I was thinking about saying something.

That guy really knows his stuff I guess!

(Let me get my podium set up...)

My wife is one of those germ freaks so it would have to be someplace fairly decent. She's really picky about those kinds of things.

.... And what's wrong with that?!? :snooty:

(I know what they say about germs being good for strengthening the immune system, but I still prefer to keep my hand sanitizer nearby! )

Hey there :)

I think I have only seen 3 "open" supporters (myself, KigerKat and JenniferAtl) for Tripp throughout this thread (closet supporters are welcome and please continue the support :thumbsup2:).

I have been under the impression that most of you were Justin supporters (which I can see I wasn't too far off :)). I suppose that is why I have been having the extra fun with the pics and such. I guess I felt I needed to give him public support I knew deserved. Again, I have had the privilege to listen to Tripp here in GA for many years where he loves to talk about his up and coming trips to WDW. He has also given me great advice and insight on the trip to WDW that we now may or may not be taking. I know he has also shared his WDW Tripp (pun intended) planning skills and knowledge with KigerKat at great length too.

This isn't intended to take away from any of the other 2 candidates (even if David doesn't really visit here  ).

Like I have said before...I think Tripp is the underdog here (since he hasn't used the radio to promote himself or any other forms of media prior to the Top 3) and that combined with fact that I feel I know who he is and what he is about is why I have always been public about my support.

I think you all are great and have enjoyed being on here. I am looking forward to our continued online community even long after the CMO contest ends...and especially if they have another next year. :cool1:

True...and agreed. I sincerely hope you understood that me supporting Justin in no way meant anything negative toward Tripp, his supporters, or anyone else here on this board who may choose another candidate. I truly like Tripp. I really really do! (by the way, I didn't take your post to imply you were upset or mad, but I just want to make sure you know I still love ya BTM!)

There is a huge back story to my attachment to this thread and to the majority of those who post here. Many of our newer friends may not be aware. I didn't even join this group until late in the first thread. Mr. Fleagle, however, was a very big part of it. I simply posted one day to thank everyone for their kindness and genuine support of Eric when he received sad news that he did not make the top 10. I was genuinely touched and wanted to thank everyone. It was a very very difficult time for us for very many personal reasons. The kindness of our new friends here meant so much to both of us. Far more than any of them will ever know! Anyway, I felt so welcome within this group...which is very hard following beind Fleagle......so I continued to be a part of it. Some very good friends were made.

Continuing the back story to all this, when the requests for Eric's CMO pins came in I received a lot of PMs of some disboarders sharing their very personal stories about what this contest meant to them. I was amazed that every day there was a new story, a new person, some who don't even post here but lurk, requested pins, and then shared some very touching sentiments. I was astounded at the impact of those silly pins and of what Fleagle had meant to some people here.

Anyway....that bird has sailed....... but my point is that I have a very different connection to this board and to my new friends. We know some things about each other that is very real and personal. Our connection is more than just a sincere passion for all things Disney!

Now how that relates to me supporting Justin is this..... I just feel a connection to him. He took time to get to know the Fleagles outside of this board. Recently he mailed us an anniversary card and before that another very touching note that I won't share. (hope you don't mind me saying that Justin) To me, his effort to be our friends outside of this contest speaks volumes. As I've gotten to know more about him, even though I've never heard his voice other than his entry video or seen him in person, I know he is a genuine good guy. He doesn't have a loyal fan base who can rally around him. And while I know Tripp can't promote himself via the media, I really don't think he's an underdog. He is a very strong candidate on his own merit. And I really do like him! I won't be sad if he wins, but I'll be terribly sad if Justin doesn't.

Justin most represents what I was hoping this CMO position could be to us and to others. And while Tripp is no doubt a stand up guy and I have all the respect in the world for him, I just feel like I 'know' Justin a bit more. And everything I've been able to learn about him reiterates over and over and over again that he is the one who can remember these back stories and be the type of Chief Magic Official that I personally would love to see walking down Main Street. I feel like if he wins he'll be taking a piece of each of us with him.

Meanwhile, keep up your Tripp antics...they always make me laugh & smile! :)

Love ya BTM....and hope LTM is doing better today!

Does anyone know how to fly? We could all pile into a tricked out 747.

Oooooh! Cushy and impressive! (.... Sort of defeats the purpose of a Road Trip, though! ;) )

Maybe we can all travel to Disneyland in the motor-home, then we'll hop on the tricked-out, luxury 747 for a quick trip home. (By then, we'll likely be a bit tired of each other... one big DISnee Resort Family traveling cross-country in tight quarters! Hey, HMF: What was that suggestion you made in our very first thread? Weren't you lobbying for "The Real World: Disney"?? :lmao:

Tripp...you are one awesome and classy guy....and I hope you can sincerely tell by my posts that I really do like you and don't take it as anything negative about you or toward you in any way. And as I said before, I won't be sad if you win at all! You would make a great CMO, I can already tell you are an awesome dad! :) You win lots of points in my book for that alone!

I can't wait to see how much fun you all will have in the parks......this is all very exciting. Thanks for letting us tag along for the journey!

 Amy

Wow, Mrs. Fleagle! (I feel sort of silly that my goofy post appeared so soon after this one... )

Thanks for speaking from your heart!!

ANNOUNCER: Ladies and Gentlemen... please welcome... Fleagle.

{bewilderment from the audience}

AUDIENCE MEMBER #1: Fleagle? I thought he was gone.

AUDIENCE MEMBER #2: Yeah... couldn't handle the disappointment.

BRADY{off}: Told ya!!!

{MUSIC- "Never Had a Friend Like Flea"}

Fleagle approaches the podium.

{Music fades out}

FLEAGLE: My friends and Brady thank you for coming today.

BRADY {off}: Get over it buddy!!!

FLEAGLE: You are right... sorry about that. My friends, I have not felt like I could or even should name my favorite candidate. Partly because I didn't have my heart in it, but mostly because I don't think that my opinion should matter to others. My votes are my own... and whomever I vote for should not influence other's choices.

I feel very much like NostraDISmous in so many ways. Even before the announcement of the Top 20... I thought that Justin and Tripp looked very tough to beat. I only hoped that I might be the third person standing with them. When they made the Top 20, I was not surprised at all. When they advanced to the Top 10 and the Top 3, it was honestly just what I thought would happen.

The funny thing is that it had never occurred to me that one of them (or neither) would have to win, and the other (or both) would have to lose.

The picture in my mind from the beginning has been of a little girl walking up Main Street, unaware that the CMO is waiting just beyond Casey's to present her with a night in Cinderella Castle. In that dream, the CMO was always me. I would imagine just what I would say and do to make this a moment that this little girl would tell her grandchildren about.

In another dream, that same little girl was crying...overwhelmed by too much stimulation or upset by unmet expectations. I dreamed of how I would comfort her and make her the hero of her own story while she turned her family's day from bad to great.

Once I didn't make the Top 10, my dream changed. Now when I see that little girl, it is no longer a stranger. It is my 5 year old, Elizabeth. I'm not the CMO anymore waiting just ahead. I'm her father, following behind her, praying for some magic that she can tell my great-grandchildren about.

When I play the movie in my mind, I come to the end of Main Street... Elizabeth sees Winnie the Pooh just around the corner. She runs to hug him. There is a man beside Pooh, and he is holding a key. He leans down and whispers something in her ear. Elizabeth jumps and spins and runs to me. She says that she is a Princess. The nice man told her so... and that she is going to spend the night in the Castle... all of us are invited.

She pulls my hand to come and meet the man that has given her a dream come true. He extends his hand to me, I look up to see the key and a big smile. And I see Justin.

In the dream now it isn't me... its Justin.

So much of this contest has been about being true to your dreams. I respect the dreams of Justin, Tripp and David very much. In my CMO dream for my daughters and for my sons, I see Justin's face. So to be true to my dream, I'll be voting for Justin.

Rather than ask anyone else to vote for MY favorite candidate, I would ask you to play my little movie in your own head. Who's face do you see? Cast your vote accordingly... and you'll make your own dream come true.

I wish all three candidates the best of luck!!!

Good Afternoon.

Once I realized they were looking for a man to be CMO...The CMO has always looked like Justin in my mind.

Even though I thought Cut Out Patrick was hilarious and you dearest Fleagle won us all over on this forum, I always saw Justin.
