I hope our Dis family will stand up to this kind of pressure. I know some have been very open with their support of one or another but this is hard.

I agree that I do not know David and so am less vested in his success. (Sorry!) Since following this board everyday I feel like part of the family.

I have not voted since the top three were named. I guess we all have to pick someone eventually. In the meantime, I will just live the experience through Justin and Tripp equally.

I'm sure this family can stand up to it. I've never really been vocal about who I wanted, actually I gave everyone here votes for the Top 10. Including quite a few to Tripp when he was at Disney because I worried he wasn't able to vote for himself. And I really do like Tripp....but I just feel a more personal connection to Justin and I feel like I "know" him a little better. He's made an attempt to get to know the Fleagles. More personal....a bit more real. I feel like he's coming at this contest with a different perspective. Others have had obvious supporters from the beginning....no harm/no foul...... but just wanted to let Justin know that while I know there's not much one little Fleagle can do, I'll sure stand up and try during the last stretch of the contest.
Don't have t -shirts, don't have buttons, no Justin faced morphed into other photos....just one person saying a very sincere and heartfelt "GO JUSTIN"

Ann.... hopefully you can get through all the "red tape", I think that is a wonderful idea.

I could probably lose a few before our trip in May, but that only gives me just over 4 weeks. Bleh....

If you are passionate about something, be it a job or opportunity, sometimes that is all you need as everything else will fall in place.

Good luck on the weightloss support venture. I think that is a great thing especially if you develop a program that helps clients achieve their goals and change their lives.

I have lost over 30 pounds now. Which is something I set out to do on Jan 2, way before this contest. It has given me extra motivation, though. If you need an endorser, I'm always here.

Thanks so much Tripp! I really truly was hoping that Disney would make some grand connection between my reasons for losing weight and them...not so much yet but soon hopefully. Things are falling into place but with the business but behind the scenes work I never envisioned before!

Ummmmm......yeah.........foodie here........hence the weight loss support, cause I really like to have my cake (cinnamon rolls, brownies, pizza, burgers etc.) and eat it too!

Good luck on your endeavors with the weight loss support business. Will you be giving free support and advice to fellow members of your DIS-nee family? I know I could stand to loose several pounds, especially with summer right around the corner.

First tip.....free of charge.....journal every morsel......very eye-opening for the real foodies here!

Good Morning Everyone!

DisGeeks: Count me in for the road trip. I will be back from our WDW trip on April 23 and will be able to travel with the DIS-nee family.


My connection at work will not let me see all of the pics that everyone is posting and You Tube is blocked. You would think they want us to work or something. What's up with that? So, when I log in from home tonight I will be able to see everyone's pics. I can see all of Cat's and am loving all of the pics she is posting.

Okay, more voting today. It makes me look like I am diligently working.

Hi all!

I know many of you have been maintaining Suisse neutrality...and I respect you for that.

I look at it this way: If our feelings are genuine, then it's okay to express a preference if we have one. Obviously I have been backing Justin since the top 10 were announced, but I have also maintained a real affection for Tripp.

FYI -I have never once backed the same candidate for President of the United States as my older sister! Our feelings are polar opposites, but you know what? We love each other anyway. We have respect for each other's right to have an opinion, and we support the right for everyone to be able to express that opinion.

Now voting for CMO is not quite the same, but the principles are the same, as far as I'm concerned.

So, here's my opinion in the form of one of my cheesey videos! The quality is sketchy, but the affection is real!

Oh, and for the record, I got permission from Justin to use screenshots from his video!

I think I have only seen 3 "open" supporters (myself, KigerKat and JenniferAtl) for Tripp throughout this thread (closet supporters are welcome and please continue the support .

I have been under the impression that most of you were Justin supporters (which I can see I wasn't too far off ). I suppose that is why I have been having the extra fun with the pics and such. I guess I felt I needed to give him public support I knew deserved. Again, I have had the privilege to listen to Tripp here in GA for many years where he loves to talk about his up and coming trips to WDW. He has also given me great advice and insight on the trip to WDW that we now may or may not be taking. I know he has also shared his WDW Tripp (pun intended) planning skills and knowledge with KigerKat at great length too.

This isn't intended to take away from any of the other 2 candidates (even if David doesn't really visit here ).

Like I have said before...I think Tripp is the underdog here (since he hasn't used the radio to promote himself or any other forms of media prior to the Top 3) and that combined with fact that I feel I know who he is and what he is about is why I have always been public about my support.

I think you all are great and have enjoyed being on here. I am looking forward to our continued online community even long after the CMO contest ends...and especially if they have another next year.

DISNEYFALCON - Wow, what a small world. I actually grew up north of Huntsville in a little town named Harvest. I moved to the big town of Madison before going to Middle School. Is your family there permanently? I know a lot of people have moved there for jobs at Marshal Space Flight Center or the Redstone Arsenal.

They are there permanently. We've been many times for visits. They live in Meridianville. Ds is hoping to fly there this summer or next to go to space camp!! He's so excited. He's wanted to go for years, now we're ready but he's waiting for a friend's schedule to open up.

Ditto what BTM said!! I'm not sure if anyone here knew this, but I've never even been to Disney World before (my husband has been to DW, DL, and even HKDisney). DH and I are planning on celebrating our first anniversary there, and Tripp has truly been great in helping me plan along the way.

It's kind of a strange feeling to listen to someone on the radio for so many years - someone who has always seemed to play the right song at the right time or cracked a joke at the right moment to make you laugh - and now I have a chance to help him achieve something he is so passionate about. It's truly a great honor to be able to "pay it forward" for him.

Too funny how real the road trip is to me......I was actually asking my family, "Where should we take everyone while they are here?"

But DISgeeks PLEASE stop the bus and let me off if I can't have a great burger in the other towns we visit....I have already planned a stop at "Five Guys" (hey, any relation 3Guys?) for us when we get to Charlotte. Maybe I should run out there right now and get a menu for us !

So, although I am supposed to be finishing my business plan and either incorporating or not, securing insurance, etc., ...............

Anyway, I have check out the garage and have a few possibilities.
My personal favourite would be the new motorhome as shown earlier.
It does have that certain touch of class and ultimate comfort for such a long journey....and an alternate for grocery runs, etc.

MARSHAY & CIRCUSGIRL - We will be at WDW from Sept. 20 - 27 doing the free dining bounceback. We stayed at POP last year. We heard how great the WL was and decided to give it a try. Marshay, I would love to get to meet any members of the DIS-nee Family. It sounds like Cat is having a great time doing just that. Circusgirl, when are you going and are you going to DL or WDW?

I am currently reserved for September 4-14 for WDW. I've always gone in December/January so wanted to try a different time and picked right after Labor Day because it seemed like a good time for smaller crowds. There is a possibility that due to work constraints I'll have to change the trip to late September so we can definitely meet up if that happens!! Check out the WDW Celebrations web site for news about their event September 26-28. They are great folks and are sponsoring a bunch of fun events. One of their members, Adam Roth, is the incredible teen who co-organized the EPCOT Anniversary event last fall.

If the finances hold up I may be able to go back in December for MouseFest (my dates would be somewhere around December 7-17) or at least I'll have a conference in Orlando around MLK day in January.

I totally support a grand gathering for the DIS-nee family and like Marshay would try to make it happen if we get a group going.
