Love it! :woohoo: "Party in the Car!" :woohoo: (You're great, Cat!)

I'm sure you'll do well in the "Sink-off!"

Hey Kenny!

I may have to do a little Mickey's Premium warm up...er, cool up... when we arrive.... and 1 and 2 and a 3 and 4... Just to get ready for the "Sink Off."

All in the name of gaining that competitive edge .... (and maybe a few pounds, too!)

[Burp!]

I'm into the home stretch of our big three week vaudeville-variete festival here in Seattle so still ridiculously busy but want to say :goodvibes :goodvibes to all and check in a little.

spreadingpixiedust - I most often go to the World alone and I always have a landmark great time. No one in my life is as big of a fan as I am, so friends and family come for short visits and it's great to have company for those times, but as Marshay said, being able to do exactly what you want when you want to makes for a fantastic vacation. I meet all kinds of interesting people from all over the world while standing in line and dining. I love, love, love being able to go like crazy if I want to, or just hang out, or change plans at the last second. Meal times can feel a little lonely, but like Marshay I bring something to read or work on a journal of the trip during meals.
Another great thing to do is to plan a trip around MouseFest, a fan gathering that takes place in December (2008 dates are December 11-15). There are meets for rides, group meals, history walks and all kinds of other super fun activities. Most of the events are free. Last year there was a nominal voluntary registration fee.
WDW Celebrations is another terrific organization that is putting on gatherings. Their next program (after a celebration of AK's 10th) is September 26-28 and also looks really fun.

Cathie - You rock! Love the photos and the Funky Salmon Party in the Car sighting was hilarious!!! Congratulations on being a part of the opening family for AK- what a super cool thing! :yay: :yay: :yay:

Marshay and all you super talented crafty types - Please keep sharing your great ideas and projects. Your enthusiasm is inspiring, and it is really fun to see what you're up to.

Disgeeks - Thanks for all the fun photos from your adventures with the Skinnys. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Justin and Tripp - Thanks for taking the time to share your CMO experiences with us!! I am shamelessly enjoying living the experience vicariously.

Ok, I know there's more, but have to go to work for a little bit before my event tonight. Thanks to all for taking such good care of our happy resort!

WDW Update:

Rumors have been flying like tiny Dumbos all over the parks!

Many people are questioning why there have been no sightings of Minature Mickey in the parks today. Is it because of the scandalous behavior of the Big Cheese's Little Cheese in the Par-tay in car debacle?

There will be an official Press Release sometime this evening - time is yet to be determined.

Please stand by....

uh... thanks alot BTM... (Tripp says sarcastically...) That used to be my MySpace default photo. It would show up everywhere and people would get so mad, and a little nauseous:sick:

Sorry, hearing about the Funky Salmon made me think of what the dance would look like from the neck up...well...that pic came to mind. :cool1: :thumbsup2 :lmao:

That looks great! Thank you for taking the time to map everyone!

Justin: Thank you so much for the book recommendations! I have the POTC book you mentioned and I love it! I just got "Inside the Dream: The Personal Story of Walt Disney" by Katherine and Richard Greene. I can't wait to start it!

I agree! Thanks for setting up the map...

Jennifer, I have "Inside the Dream . . . " as well. It is the 'coffee table book' of choice in my house!

Love the suspense, Cat! Thanks for keeping us so involved in your journey!!

I haven't had time to post most of the weekend, but I'm catching up this morning. Now don't laugh everyone....

I started getting teary eyed thinking about the "family" that we've formed here and how much everyone really cares about each other. I'm reading about cat's adventures, picturing her there, and wishing I was with her. Not because I want to be at Disney, but because I want to be with her, getting to know her and soaking up her sense of fun and adventure.

I want to be with the Fleagles, mulching, playing, and chasing bubbles. Not because I have a great desire to go to Virginia, but because I want to be with them.

I want to be in Oklahoma chatting with KTP and Tooth about all things Disney. I want to be with Marshay scrapbooking. I want to be with Justin to broaden my vocabulary, and have a non-stop laugh fest. I want to be with Meggin to help her spread the pixie dust. It's so much more fun when you share the sharing with a friend. I want to be with Mr. Autotopia as he shares his love of Disney with his dear family. I want to be with Tripp while he trains for the CMO challenge.

To our 2 of the top three that I consider family (David-sorry that I don't know you at all) best of luck this week. I'll be thinking of you constantly.

I've got to go get ready for church so I didn't mean to leave anyone out, I'm just out of time. I wanted all of you to know how much you're loved and appreciated. Thanks for bringing a little more joy to my already joyful life.

Suz

Thank YOU for the beautiful post, Suz!!! I hope you had a wonderful day! And you are welcome to join me anytime for a little motivational Disney grammar lesson!

I'm an on board for a Scrapbooking Thread or to keep it here - if that is what the masses vote. :flower3:

Thank you all for welcoming me so late in the game. I feel like I already know you all because I have been reading the threads for so long!

Just a little about me: I live in Atlanta (just outside - Canton) with my husband and 4 year old daughter. We are all nuts about Disney and make at least 2 trips a year to the World. We just went in March for 1 week and my daughter finally made that 40 inch mark to ride Splash Mountain! Everyone else in our family and many of our friends think we are nuts - I'm sure you all know how that feels.

Howdy neighbor!!!!!!! A Tripp supporter and a fellow Cantonite. :woohoo:

Well, some not so great news. We may have to postpone yet again our trip to WDW. I couldn't get Honda to pay for all of the transmission on the 2003 Odyssey. I still had to come out of pocket over $2500+. That was the WDW fund. Not sure if we are going to be able to replenish by February now.

We ended up trading it in for a new Sienna...my wife didn't trust the Odyssey anymore...for good reason. Never would have thought the transmission would have failed at 60,000 miles.

Tripp said he knew how to do the Funky Salmon, so we video taped it for all to see. Only problem is that I zoomed in too much and so the only part of the dance you can learn now are the facial expressions. Do take notes.

Work it out...:lmao:

Um....hate to disappoint and piddle on your party....but that's not the Funky Salmon. There is one and only, and no imitations. But perhaps Tripp ATE some funky salmon?

Hey Tripp...care to tell us about your double identity?

Trippy...you got some splain'n to do. :lmao:

Aaaaahhh... I see you've been Googling... I show up in some strange places don't I? That "Tripp West" borrowed my name, which in radio is the ultimate form of flattery. I have no problem with it as "Tripp West" is on my birth certificate. "Will the real Tripp Shady please stand up, please stand up..."

It has been a great "radio name" since everyone thinks I made it up. Nope, been Tripp West all of my life.

I can tell he has good taste. And his hero is Ryan Seacrest...yet another Star94 bread talent. :)
I wonder if he makes a Morning Mess too. :lmao:

Darn...I thought we nailed it too. Oh well...you'll have to e-mail the step by step instructions and foot floor mat. :)

BTM . .. . I'm so sorry to hear that! I'm thinking about you, man. I hope things work out for you!

Ha! That's bringing the funny, Mrs. Fleagle! (and, way to stick up for your man and his dance!)
