Pros...Small and lightweight. Nice size video screen and easy to use.
Con...If you get a hard drive camera, you can't use it to videotape roller coasters or dropping rides.
Hiya Kenny.... DH has a Sony hard drive camera and bought the sports case for it (the one with the shock protectors or whatever) and we bring it on coasters all the time. Not sure if JVC has them... but the case is waterproof also, which is fun at the waterparks.

I do every time! It usually hits at about the point where Ariel says "Oh, I wish I could be part of that world"..... and...... I lose it. I'm a softie.

The waterworks for me always start when that lone firework shoots across the castle and the little girl sings, "Starlight, Starbright, first star I see tonight..."

I'm tearing up just thinking about it.

I also tear up at Illuminations sometimes.... just the music, magic, and spectacle of it! I get so caught up in the "grandness" and the message of "one" world.

5 Things That Make Me Cry at WDW:

1. Wishes
2. Mickey's Philharmagic
3. When my daughter sees the castle for the first time each trip
4. Seeing Mickey in the Judge's Tent behind his house
5. Festival of The Lion King Show at AK

Anyone else?

I'll need to check into that!

Hogwash! We are all VIP's!!!

Yes, Monday the 21st. Does anyone else cry while watching wishes?

Pretty much! ;) (It's a least good for goosebumps!)

I'm also known to get teary-eyed whenever I see Cinderella waving from her brightly-lit carriage during the “SpectroMagic” Parade!

Is it just me or is this thread starting to SLOOOOOWWWWW down??? :confused3

Hurry, does somebody know how to use one of these?

1. leaving on my last day

(I have yet to see Wishes, Mickey's Philharmagic, Illumnations, Spectromagic, or Fantasmic. I was last there in 1998.)

I'm a little behind. First I love the flat Mickey and Minnie idea!! I'm totally game!!

Also for our little map of members - my avatar says Cololrado Springs and although that's "home" we're not there. We're currently on the central coast of California - Vandenberg AFB to be exact. We're moving this summer though - ALL the way across the country to Newport, Rhode Island for a year. So my little designation on the map is constantly changing. Home is truly where the Air Force sends us.:)

Looks like you will be moving to my neck of the woods then! Newport is about 30/45 minutes east of me..... it is beautiful.

Fantasmic at Disneyland still gets me after all these years and multiple viewings.
Seeing my two littlest meet Mickey, Pooh Bear, and Tigger for their first time this past fall brought us all to tears (even my tough DH)

I went to the beginning of the first thread the other day and realized that many people have DIS-appeared :sad1:

Tigger got to meet Dory! This is Meg and her friend, Ame who plays
Dory. We got to sit in the VIP section and met Ame after!

CalDisney!!!! I just noticed your shirt! That is TOO cool!!!

Looks like you guys are having so much fun!!! Meggin, it must be so great to live right there and get to meet people at the parks! Really neat about your friend "Dory"!!! You're gonna have to save that pixie dust bag as a great souvenir before it wears out!

And Cat, thanks for keeping us updated--SO SO glad you're there and are having such a great time!

Very cool! (AnnDisneyFan is going to be sooo jealous! Where is she, btw?)

So Meggin! You'll have to let us know which Disney friends of yours you want us to say hello to!!

I can see Pirate, Justin, Tripp, myself and HMF (and anyone else going in the next month or so) giving a fond "hello from Meggin's friends".

Fleagles are fine and well..

Just spending the first nice day of our spring break at......gasp....Busch Gardens!
We just got home from family day of fun! (Busch is just 15 minutes away and we always get season passes so it's a great last minute day of fun!)

Just trying to catch up here.....I'll be back!

I have always wanted to go to Washington and Oregon and drive down the coast into California. My wife tried to book a trip for my birthday one year and the travel agent wouldn't book it. She said, "Why would you want to go there? It rains all the time." She obviously didn't want our business. I'll get out there one of these days. Maybe when the girls are in college. Something else I have wanted to do is RV it across the country, zig zagging to see all the sites, while taking our time and enjoying the ride. I have been wanting to do that since my senior year of high school.

We started on PCH around San Fran up through Oregon. Wow, it is beautiful, but a very slow ride. All the winding and slow speeds and no easy way to get off if grow tired of the drive. I guess it is a little more tedious with young ones because you have to make more frequent stops and keep them occupied.

One place we stopped off on the way back was CRATER LAKE (not off of PCH I think). We took a different route back. That is awesome, so if you head out that way then you have to stop there...it is incredible. It is basically a crater left after a volcano blew it's top many moons ago and has filled in with water.
