Ladies and Gentleman of this thread, let me introduce Jennifer, wife of Anthony whom I work with here at Star 94. A huge Disney Family. It's actually pretty funny when Anthony, Scott (who is in Disney World right now) and I get together and talk Disney. We are three middle-aged guys who get so excited sharing our Disney stories. We have often talked about, but have yet to execute a plan, going on a Disney cannonball: a road trip down and back in a day. I'd have to stay two days though. They wouldn't be able to drag me out of the park when it was time to leave.

Travel update: in the magical express bus waiting to head to FQ!

Flights were easy, no probs. Met a really nice 1st timer family on the plane, and helped them find the ME checkin. Funny-when I said bye they said they were sure they'd see me in the parks. They are in for a surprise!

Yep, the bigger the family, the more points you will need!! And if you can only travel in summer (won't pull kids out of school), then you'll need even more points since your trips will cost more than a husband/wife who can go in September.

I'll send you a PM with the info on our points and how much it's going to "cost" us in May and you'll see that 210 points really is the MINIMUM...I'd suggest more if you want to use it every year. It would be fine if you only want to use it every other year.

When I talked to our financial advisor about this, he asked me one question: Will you use it?

As far as the extra $317 -- will that hurt your family?

If YES, you will use it and NO it really won't hurt your family, then I say go for it.

Side note: We visited Disney World last Fall, and the mother of one of DD's preschool friends actually said something along the lines of, "So your daughter is the kid who is planting those ideas of a Disney vacation in my child's head... Thanks a lot!"

Don't you just love Disney newbies. They'll probably do 4 attractions before collapsing from exhaustion. They'll go to every Magic Hour park 2 hours late and wonder why the place is so packed. They'll try to get a sit down meal and ask why they can't get a seat. They go to the Tiki room and Country Bears just to get out of the heat. Newbies...I was one once!

Thank you so much! I had that video stuck in my head and had to get it out and on tape. I think Donald is only going to endorse himself... and maybe cause some trouble for us 3 while in Disney World. I'm stearing clear of the boat. I don't want to all of the sudden just "disappear" from competition...

Had to exit quickly yesterday evening because people showed up for the meeting early. I didn't get home until really late, then couldn't really sleep, so I worked on some stuff that has to be done before I leave. I'm just about finished.

Oh... and I loved your tour videos on YouTube, Amy Kate. When the book takes off, you can use some of that capital to start your own TV show...

Let me back track and see what went down last night.

No, it just looks like I'm always on!! I leave a DIS-tab open in my browser and check to see if anything new has happened about once an hour or so...I can get very bored during the day at work...Thank GOD I have you to listen to so I can keep my foot tapping!

BTW...I guess you've talked to Michael over at ETM. He's ready to take questions from the members over there for you and it sounds like he'll be at WDW filming stuff and taking pics for his site during the big events next week! They really are super nice over there! Much smaller than the DIS, but very friendly and eager to help whenever they can!
