Back to Commando (Thursday, December 7)
Ah, finally, touring with real Disney freaks!! I got up with my sister and ran down to the lobby to get Starbucks inserted into my central line. We decided last night that DH gets to sleep in, and we would leave Russ with him if Russ was not awake by the time we left. But really, who trusts their DH with the baby? I casually bumped the crib a couple times until Russ woke up. Of course, by then we were running late to meet my parents, and you DONT want to be late around my father in WDW. So we hauled butt out the door my sisters door. Halfway down the hallway (and its a long hallway to the garage!) we realized that I still had DHs ticket. Oops! So, I handed my sister my Starbucks and she headed to the parents while I headed back. Because its totally possible to hold two hot drinks and push a stroller with no cup holders.
Back to the hotel room, where I realized I only have a key to my room. And since we left out my sisters door, my room is still triple-locked for security. So I called my sister to get her to drag Russ and the Starbucks back to the room. Except her cell phone was in my purse! And of course, Mom and Dad werent answering theirs. So, I had to do the most dreaded thing possible knock and wake up DH. And oh, he wasnt too pleased. But Im willing to bet he went right back to sleep!
Finally, we all got back together with the right amount of tickets and only a minor amount of Starbucks on peoples shirts, and got in the car to head out. My son and his Aunt Tine had a fascinating conversation on the short ride to the MK. (We had a reason for driving, well get to it.)
Russ: Butt!
Tine: No, buttON.
Russ [very matter-of-fact]: No, butt-butt.
(Of course, now he says button with a heavy accent on the second syllable. Sounds French. Thanks, Aunt Tine.)
Its an EMH day so we got started on Fantasyland right away. I think we rode more rides in the first hour than we did with my ILs over three days. Russ loved them all, especially Its a Small World. Toddlers.

We tried to ride Space Mountain but it kept breaking. Rode Buzz twice, it broke the second time. (Hey, were not bad luck!)
Russ really liked Buzz. Duh, it has butt-butts!
My sister blamed Russ for her poor score.
After Buzz, we had to ride the Wedway People Mover. Not the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. The Wedway People Mover.
Russ chilled with Grammy and Grandpa
And my sister and I proved were totally normal adults
Hey, no standing!
Man, Grandpa will do ANYTHING for me!
We were heading to Adventureland when we saw Stitch! Hes Russs favorite Russ was even Stitch for Halloween. But real-life Stitch is apparently huge and scary.
We finally made it to Adventureland and hopped onto the Jungle Cruise. I made the cruise even funnier by not getting a Triple Ape joke right away. Something about saying ohhhhh! ten seconds after everyone else makes the skipper think he can mock you the entire ride! Russ just watched the water, looking for a good spot to jump in.
DH called while we were on the Jungle Cruise (oh yes, Im one of those annoying people who will answer the cell phone on a ride.) But we kept it to a short Jungle Cruise, exit, five minutes. He met up with us and we decided to finish up in Adventureland and head to the car for lunch. Lunch plans were for DH and Dad to go get drunk I mean, partake in the lovely German FOOD in EPCOT and for the girls (and Russ) to go to Beaches and Cream. We parked at the Yacht Club and split up. Only to realize, as we sat down in B&C, that once again, I had DHs ticket. Uh, maybe I should have considered trusting him with his own ticket.
Up next: Lunch and
MVMCP!
