The Timeshare sponser above, anyone used it for a deal?

I am looking at it, and BWV or SSR have point prices starting from $70 /pt, ( where we would buy )
that is alot cheaper than $112 /pt ! ( from disney direct)
anyone use this to buy DVC? is it reptuable?
any more information?

I haven't- many on here have and have had many positive things to say.

resale is less expensive- takes a little longer to get into the disney computer systems and you won't be able to take advantage of any incentive offers-

You do get to pay less per point and have a choice of "sold out" resorts though.

Buying from the resale market is great for many people (there are tons of threads you can find on the pros and cons). I bought via the timeshare store, and they were excellent to work with. That said, I would encourage anyone thinking about resale to look at all three of the main DVC specialists to find the contract that is best for you.

We bought two contracts through TSS. Couldn't be happier! They, like the other resales folks listed in the previous post, are licensed by the State of Florida. Just make sure you read the contract and know what you are getting into. Also make sure you can afford doing this. Don't forget annual dues (currently about $5 per point), transportation, meals, tickets, trinkets, etc.

We've sold 3 contracts through TTS and they were great. We also just bought a contract through them at SSR for $71 a point and everything has been smooth so far. If you find a good contract that matches your needs, go for it.

The only way I would buy direct from Disney right now would be if I wanted BLT, AKV or SSR with the cruise incentive.

Just did a resale purchase through them. Great experience. It can be a way to get into the program with a smaller contract (not the 160 minimum required by going direct) if that is a concern of yours.

But, as many will say, you should buy where you want to stay. I was looking a BWV last year and realized that I really want to have easier access to the Magic Kingdom so BLT and VWL were the best options for me. I bought the VWL resale contract through TSS and then just added on at BLT. This way, I have 11 month booking advantage at my 2 favorite resorts.

If you don't have any preference, then the 11 month booking advantage at a certain resort becomes less important.

I used TSS and it was very smooth, I highly recommend them.

I'll also add to buy where you want to stay the most.

Absolutely no problems, very helpful and would use again.

We recommend using them to make a purchase. Take you time and wait for a resale that is right for you.

You can make an offer and include that the buyer pay all closing cost too ...

Would recommend them, we purchased a 160 pt contract with them went seemless.
Just remember BUY WHERE YOU WANT TO STAY! That 11 month window is getting more and more important.

Agree. Jason was always responsive. When he was away his mailbox was monitored to answer any questions.
