26/10/08 Magic Kingdom
We were all up early, so decided to go out for breakfast. We found a Sizzlers buffet and ate a huge American breakfast. Dave had a large apple juice, forgetting where we were, and it was the size of a small bucket! Probably a litre of apple juice!
Our villa is about 30 mins from the parks, but we had to go via the agents today to report a couple of maintenance issues we didnt want to get billed for!
We arrived at Magic Kingdom about 10am and took the ferry to the park. Claire loved it when she first saw the castle.

What can you say about Magic Kingdom? It is just magic. We went on loads of rides and saw lots of shows. Splash Mountain was cool but I bottled out of Thunder Mountain! The shows are just great and provide a rest for your feet. Mickeys Philamagic is a fantastic 3 D film which even I can see (a lazy eye means I cant see traditional 3D films). Monsters Inc Laughter Floor is an interactive, computer animated show. The characters interact with the audience. This show will remain in my memory for a looong time as I was part of the entertainment! There was a big cinema screen with the monsters on and a smaller screen which projected images from the audience. The characters interacted with the people showing on the small screen. The audience members play along. Half way through, one of the monsters was a psychic. He asked one lady her name and age, then said thats right to her answer. Then the camera turned on me! He asked my name and then asked me to pick a number between 10 and 50. He was to guess the number but first I had to tell the audience my number. He shut his eyes so that he wouldnt know! I, trying to be clever, signed the number to the camera. There then followed what felt like hours, but was probably only a few minutes, of humiliation! I had to make antennae on my head, pull funny faces etc. He did say at one point I bet you wish youd just said the number now! It was very funny and very clever, but very embarrassing!
The parade was fabulous with all the favourite Disney characters. We collected loads of autographs too. It wasn't to busy and most rides were only a few minutes wait for the walk on queue.

We arrived home, exhausted, at 8.30pm, had a sandwich and were all in bed for 9.30!
