The Tagliarchy Mansion

ok Ladies, HuggaBaloo has returned. Now to start on the really good birthing stories.....

Back to the "quirks" question. I asked Joe and he rattled off my love of 80's slasher flicks and gore, gore, gore. He also mentioned my love of bizaare/creepy toys ( see my latest obsession at www.teddyscares.com ) He just thinks that, considering my absolute love of WDW, he thinks my obsession with horror is just plain wierd.

But that's all. I'm perfect.

Ya mean those weren't the "good" ones?!?!?!

I feel like my innocence has been stolen from me and I shall never get it back. For example, I always used to think a "conehead" was just a character from an old Saturday Night Live skit. Who knew?

Based on this I figured you be asking all of the mothers on here for copies of their videotaped deliveries! :p

I'll second that! Talk about getting fresh...don't you hate when then green bean juice starts edging towards the mashed potatoes?

Yes I do! I hate that! I have a great-aunt who always took her food and mixed it all up on the plate. (Yes, she's a bit wacko.) It was very weird. Everything got mixed in, meat, mashed potatoes, peas, gravy. Well, I don't think she put the roll in most times. But it was definitely weird.

I have a funny cat story to tell. My cat Tucha likes to sit in a window and watch the goings-on outside. (She's an indoor cat.) We have a curtain on her favorite window, and sometimes she likes to claw at it. It's sheer and has embroidery on it that taunts her, apparently.

Anyway, yesterday before I got home from work Tucha's in the window watching the world and DH is on the couch watching TV. Tucha claws the curtain, and DH tells her to stop. She does it again, and again DH shouts, "NO!" She does it a third time and he tells her "NO!!!" a third time. So she gets down from the windowsill, walks up to DH and hisses at him! Then she goes and plops herself in her chair, all PO'ed. DH promptly starts laughing. I'm just sorry I missed it.

BTW, I'm getting a digital camera from my brother! He's sending his old one to me; he and SIL got a new one. :teeth: So I should be able to post a nice pic of Tucha the spoiled brat.

I have a friend who has had her kids umbilical? ummm biblical? unbillycal? umbliblical? whatever-cords frozen in case they ever need some of their own stem cells? cord blood? cord juice? for future medical problems. ::yes::

what's this? I drain my veggies or spoon them on my plate with a strainer spoon. I like my veggies to touch, maybe they will multiply. Peas n mashed taters, mmmmmmmmmmm.:)

I don't care how much you drain them, some of that juice always tries to get into the mashed potatoes. YUCK.

Welcome back HuggaBaloo! I'm sorry, did you say you wanted to hear about my stitches?

I bet my DH wishes his parents had done that. Maybe he could grow himself a new pancreas.

Furry family members can always make their wishes/thoughts/feelings known! One afternoon I scolded Daisy (one of our two ferrets)...which made her a bit peeved at me. She looked me straight in the eye, backed up, squatted and did her ferret business....right next to the litter pan. Nobody can tell me that she didn't know exactly what she was doing!!

I am sooooooooooooooooo gonna do this at the TAGLIARCHY meet. Since all of you are whacked out by food touching.

Bichon Barb you'll enjoy this. I just had my major account call me up about a reject, so as usual, I begin looking up the PO, ask for a heat# or shipment date. He has nothing. I then ask, how much weight are we talking about here? He says, 2lbs. Ok, I sell STEEL. 2lbs of steel is not like 2lbs of chocolate. It couldn't be any bigger than a crayon. WHAT THE HEdouble hockey sticks? It cost him more to call than just throw it out, which is what I told him to do anyhow. I just can't stop laughing. Of course I composed myself on the phone, being all professional and all ::wink wink Cheeringmom:: but man a live, 2lbs. BWAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! :teeth: :teeth: :hyper: :hyper:

And apparently ferrets too. Girls and ferrets are gross.

So would girl ferrets be doubly gross? ::yes:: Our ferrets can also be really cute and sweet!!!

What part of WARNING did you people not understand?!?!

Oh, speaking of disgusting things... ;) I need to answer the question about foods I can't stand:

1) 99.9% of all seafood (I think there was a shrimp I had once that was OK)

2) mushrooms (a.k.a. fungi)

3) cottage cheese

4) strawberries in the raw (it's a texture thing...I don't mind strawberry-flavored foods)

5) raspberries or raspberry-flavored foods

6) black licorice

7) above-average-spicy foods (and I mean, "hot spicy" not spices for flavor)

8) saurkraut

That's all I can think of off the top of my head but I'm sure there are more.

I used to have Baby's brother, who we called Pouncer. he was a cute cate and I loved him, but hen Brian went away on a Temporary Assignment nd as gone for 6 months, Pouncer got really really mad about it. I was sitting on the phone and talking to Brian and Pouncer alked right up on my loveseat, stood on the armrest, looked me straight in the face and went to the bathroom on my couch! Needles to say...he went to the pound the next day...*sigh* I really liked that cat, but man, what an attitude...And I cannot afford kitty therapy! :)
