I am glad to see that the Tag Fairy decided to take a break. It was better when you received your tag as a surprise.

The begging and pleading was getting out of hand. The Tag Fairy is like Pixie Dust. You never know when you may get some.

Since I have always been loathe to dispense rewards to children when they beg, plead, throw fits or are otherwise undeserving of such, I fully understand the Tag Fairies' dismay and reluctance to put up with such pleading.

I have pled a tiny bit myself so I will go put myself in the corner (with a good book of course) until I have found a way to change my 'Slightly Evil" ways. LOL


BTW, I have never figured out the meaning to the Hokey Pokey let alone the meaning of life. Figure it will become clear exactly one second before I shuffle off this mortal coil. (sigh)

I begged at one time too, SlightlyGoofy...and I got a tag. But I feel bad, so I removed it as punishment for begging. It is better to keep it as a surprise.

You are an upstanding member of this community to be able to understand your own moral defect and correct yourself. I hope that the tag faries recognize your upright and morally correct character and reward you. Is only wrong if I beg for myself right and not if I ask politely for a fellow Hoosier?

It behooves us all to act in ways that are positive and loving cause we never know when a stray evil thought, posted, might become our everlasting tag. Perish the thought!!!

Dear tag fairy, thank you for all that you do and enjoy your well deserved rest. I am sure that you will sparkle even brighter when you return.

I agree that tags should be a wonderful surprise for people. I've seen some VERY desperate begging on the boards, and I admit I've considered it but could never bring myself to do it. Before my last trip tp WDW last October, I mentioned that I hope I might see a tag under my name when I got back on a thread specifically for those leaving to got to WDW within the week (I had to make that confession! ) Some of the posts I've seen had barely anything to do with the subject of the thread-- it was mostly "bribing" or "fishing" for a tag. I thought it quite distracting.

I am happy that the tag fairies are keeping the magic alive ! I love to read the tags and would miss the color they bring to the boards!

Bravo Tag Fairies,

No begging or askng should be allowed..it should be nice little suprise for people. Asking for a tag is like peeking for Santa in my opinion. If you keep asking you do not get....

Ok, I did write a love letter to the Tag Fairy. I didn't exactly ask for a tag, but it was obvious and I did get tagged! I also belonged to the Tagliarchy for awhile, but quit that months ago. I hope to one day be surprised by the Tag Fairy , but will be grateful for what I got!

I think it was a GREAT decision! TOO much clapping going on and too many virtual goodies being given out!
