Could someone fill me in on the origin of the tag fairy? I've been online for 17 years and thought I had seen it all, but the tag fairy is new to me.

Yes please! Now that I know what a "tag" is I notice them- but how did this start? I think its funny how excited people get over colorful moving letters

I can't believe I missed Talk Like a Pirate Day!!! It's one of my favorite days of the year. ARRRRGGGHHHH... There. I participated.

(Seriously... one year somebody even passed out eye patches at work and we tried to keep up the grammar/accent... um... not sure what to refer to it as... all day!)

Wow, Grumpypirate... you pulled this thread out of obscurity! I was all excited thinking the Tag Fairy was actively searching for new folks to tag... then I realized this was a year old!!

Oh well, I can keep hoping! I just need to hang out on the DisUnplugged board a bit more. Maybe the Tag Fairy will get curious about me and click on one of my TR links at the bottom of my signature. Then she (he?) can find all kinds of fun things to tag me on.
