The Sweet Meet - Dis'ers do Hershey

I think I need to go get the eye poking stick from the cruise thread.......

I didn't say I would be stripping - if that was the case, I would provide everyone an eye poking stick!!!:3dglasses

This is way too funny.....:lmao::rotfl:

I think I might need to borrow that blindfold or have some really dark sunglasses :cool1:

As long as no trench coats are involved....

I need to call Hershey park today... I'm assuming that if we purchased a two day Flex ticket that I can go there in the morning on Friday and leave and then come back at dinner and it would count only as one day.

We have not made up our mind yet as to a one or two day ticket.

Have to see where we can fit the Hershey Chocolate tour into this.

Yes you can leave and come back in and it will only count as one day. You need to get your hand stamped when you leave the park and be sure to keep your parking ticket to show so that you do not have to pay for parking when you get back.

Those doing the preview also should only need to pay one day for parking. When you pay be sure to tell them you are doing the preview and see if they need to stamp the ticket. Sometimes they do not have anyone attending the parking at that time of night so in that case you would drive on in and only pay the next day.

You can do the chocolate tour without a ticket for the amusement park. It is free all year round. Parking is even free up to 2 hours. If you are only doing the tour you would want to use the chocolate world entrance for the parking lot. Once you arrive explain you are only there for the tour and they should let you in without charging a parking fee.

Also don't forget that zoo america is included with your park admission when entered from the bridge inside of hershey park. If you try to enter from the zoo america parking lot you will be charged admission.

Thanks for the info. We plan on doing CW on the way home Sunday. Other than the tour, what are the other must do's at CW? Thanks!

The trolley tour is a must. We loved it.

I think I have some bad news regarding the concert tickets/preview ticket purchase. Although when we purchased the concert tickets, it specifically did not exclude the preview-tickets (I know, because I read the information several times) the Hershey Park website states if you use the concert ticket discount, you can't combine it with the preview tickets. It is here at the bottom under the "Preview Plan" information.

http://www.hersheypark.com/tickets/index.php

If I am reading that right, it totally sucks as I thought we would be able to use it for the preview tickets. It really isn't right because when they advertised the concert/tickets combo on facebook, and the website to purchase the concert tickets, it had no such exclusions.

Thanks for the update Andrea. This was my biggest fear. No worries though.

I've sent an email requesting a full refund given their Facebook oversight and lack of discloser on restrictions. I know the confirmation indicated all sales final but I'll push it.

The other idea is maybe something outside the park after dinner. Chocolate World, etc; then the hotel pool. While I really would have liked a couple extra hours in the park Friday night, maybe some relaxing the night before a long park Saturday would be best.

I'm trying to make this work in my head anyway. :yay:

Since we are going to the concert anyway, it really doesn't apply to me, but I feel bad for those who bought the tickets and weren't going to the concert. Good for you for trying to push the issue - they definatley did not disclose that, and should have.

I wouldn't mind having a nice dinner and going to Chocolate World, having some dessert :), and just hanging out for the night.

Another FREE ticket promotion. Only residents of PA, WV, MD, NJ, NY, OH, VA, DE are eligible.
