With it being Friday, and the rain we received this AM, I'm not too surprised that traffic being a bit harder than "normal".

Where exactly is she stuck? I might know a "back way" around some of the congestion.

I'm not really sure...she said that she was getting close to getting onto 283 though. She's not far from where she needs to be...

There are a couple roads she can hit to "cut the corner" from 30 to 283, but she'll probably be fine if traffic isn't backed up too far. Lancaster can get nasty on the 283/30 merge during rush hour, especially if there are any issues on 222.

Yeah traffic is always horrible in Lancaster. Esp. down by the outlet malls and it being summer. She also hit it around rush hour and it being Friday did not help either.

Good to see you post Scarlett. Sorry to hear about your husband. Hope you and your family are doing well considering.

Left home at 12:30 and didn't make it to Lancaster until 2:30ish!

No, it wasn't rush hour, just 30 backed up as usual. I thought I could miss it if I left early..... Wrong!

As far as I know, there is no Sunday breakfast or brunch set up. 90% of the group is staying at this hotel where the breakfast in included, so we aren't going out. There maybe others going out that are not staying at this hotel, but I am unaware of their plans at this point.

Great dinner at Fuddrucker's!
I enjoyed the Elk burger.....different.
Tailgate party in the parking lot with a vast choice of beverages went well.

Talked to another guest at the hotel just before going in while having a smoke.
He asked about us, so I told him.
He laughed pretty hard.
His wife thought we were a church group get together.....
He said "No...I'm sure I saw beer bottles in their hands"......
She replied "Why would they be out in the parking lot?"
"I don't know.....but I'm sure I saw beer bottles."

Guess what....they are planning a Disney trip!



So the next half hour was spent discussing the DIS over a beer and a few more smokes.

I think we have another convert....
