With eveyone busy making plans to attend the big pin event in September, I began to wonder. What are you looking forward to most about the upcoming Epcot event?

Great question Jeff... I voted for the second option... A chance to see old friends and stand in really long lines... Although I'm not sure about the standing in line part . It's never been about the pins for me. I do collect some pins and really enjoy watching Nat trade. But the friends we have made pin trading has been by far the best thing for us. It truly is wonderful how we have made so many friends from all over the country. People we probably never would have met if it hadn't been for pin trading!

Can't wait to see you all in September!!!

This is my first pin event and I'm a fairly new collector all together. So, I don't have any old friends. I guess if I had an option of "meeting new friends" I would have chosen that one! I do like meeting new pin collectors and getting a new perspective on interests.

I dunno, some of the DIS members are REALLY old so when you meet them in line in September that could qualify. You should have a blast in September. Last August was my first (and only) pin event and I was amazed how welcome I felt meeting these people for the first time.

Last year at the Aug event, we had only been collecting pins for a very short time, and were very nervous about meeting the "Dis" people for the first time...and when I did finally start to meet everyone, I was right..they just scared me to DEATH!!!! (just kidding!!)

No seriously..I have met some wonderful people, and made some great friends, and we have continued to do many fun things over the year..(The Princess Event..in the pouring rain, for example..the first Disney Pin Cruise..(Feelings!!lalala) and many more..so w/ Boa in hand..I'm looking forward to meeting and greeting many more..and all of us doing the Great Pin Adventure together!!! Woo Hoo!!!

Don't forget our Pin Meet on Friday nights at the Contemporary..our gathering place..

And to Pin Collector, aren't you coming to Brer Rabbits pin meet in Atlanta??..you will get to meet a lot of us there..(Pooor Thing)

This has been an interesting poll. There are nearly as many people who are going to hang out with the purple dragon as there are people who are interested in the pins. It is also good to see how many people just like voting.
