The Sunday thread. What’s everyone’s plan for the day?

Made DW breakfast. Already mowed front and side yard. Vacuum carpets. Make dinner.

p.s. -- DW is with a number of her Girl Scout Mariner Division Girls having them being educated by a Charter Boat Captain on power boat handling/care and before she left I was informed to stay put in the house resting since tomorrow I have a 2 week follow-up X-Ray appt. with my Orthopedic Surgeon to check on the healing of my Left Fractured Tibia that occurred when a Wild Hog charged and ran into me while bicycle riding. She's concerned that my 72yo bones are more fragile than I want to admit --- and she's right.

Grocery shopping, laundry, make dinner, clean up kitchen and wash dishes.

My best friend came over last night and we had ourselves quite a night, so today is a slow quiet day.

Same as practically every Sunday. Church, groceries on the way home, nap, project for work tomorrow and then puttering around with household chores the rest of the day.

Summer vacation is almost over for us.

I just got back from Bar Harbor, ME; it's about a 90 minute drive from home. A dear friend (who I met here on the DISboards back in 2003, she was selling seats on her Illuminations Cruise) who lives in Philadelphia is cruising to Montreal, and one of their ports was Bar Harbor! So happy I got a chance to hang out with her (and her daughter) for several hours on a lovely Sunday afternoon!

I visited my mom & enjoyed the beautiful weather on the porch.

We moved my step-daughter into IU yesterday... I had today scheduled off as a vacation day to recover. Yesterday afternoon I came home and just chilled out, and slept in this morning. THAT was glorious.
