And that includes you. :)

Here are some strange facts about me:

1. I have never seen a John Wayne movie.

2. I won't eat raw tomatoes any way but in salsa. I absolutely love salsa.

3. I've never seen "It's a Wonderful Life"....

4. I don't watch black and white movies.

5. I can't stand The 3 Stooges.

6. I am terrified of heights, but enjoy riding in planes.

7. I love snakes, and have had them as pets, but sometimes they scare me.


These are just a few of the strange things about me. How about you?
 
1) I hate fish, all fish..except canned tuna. Which is the fishiest fish there is.

2) I can tie a cherry stem with my tongue inside my mouth. It's not sexy at all.

3) I saw my first rock concert when I was 6. My mom took me to see the Beatles.

4) I have ridden in a helicopter.



There are more, but that's all I can come up with for now.
 
I love these things! Here's a couple:

1. I don't eat steak or pizza. I'm not a picky eater--those are just two foods I don't care for.

2. I have tried rattlesnake and enjoyed it. :thumbsup2

3. I lived in Germany for a year.

4. I live 1.5 hours from Canada and I've never been there.

5. I read approximately 3 books a week.
 

1. Supposedly, on my grandmother's side of the family, we are related to the "real" Uncle Sam..

2. My great-grandfather starred in several silent movies..

3. A lake where my sister was believed to have contracted polio in the 1950's was forever more referred to as "Polio Pond"..

4. I'm extremely particular about eating leftover foods due to several bouts with food poisoning.. (My late DH used to say I wouldn't eat anything if it was more than 5 minutes old.. LOL)

5. If I have nothing else to read, I will sit and read the dictionary for hours..

:scratchin OK here goes

1. I went to high school with Brad Pitt and his brother Doug married a girl from my class. (Brad graduated 2 years before me).
2. I also hate all fish except for canned tuna or canned salmon.
3. I've been known to eat sandwiches with only Miracle Whip or Miracle whip and peanut better on them.
4. I hate green vegetables and didn't start eating salads until I was at least 25.

2. The 4th toe on my right foot curves under my foot - and the women on my dad's side all have this.

3. I like to fly but elevators scare me. Especially elevators like the Paris replica in Vegas where you can see through the bottom of it as you are going up and up. :scared1:

4. I can't stand yogurt - it's a consistency thing.

5. I was an English major and so words spelled incorrectly or used the wrong way (their/there) get under my skin. Strange thing, I know. :rolleyes:
 
I hate the movie Grease

I also have this insane fear of Nicolas Cage

Chase has been using my name on their credit card ads for years. When I discovered it, I thought it was an elaborate prank my co-workers were playing on me and I freaked out at the poor girl who was working behind the register at the store.

1. I have been taking an adult gymnastics class at a very well known gymnastics training center since I was in college. (I graduated college in '98)

2. I am terrified of animals.

3. I do not like diet soda.

4. I love to watch Nick at Nite and TV land.
 
I can pop my shoulders out of their sockets.

My grandfather went to school with Frank Sinatra...and remained friends for the rest of their lives.

1. I am very picky about spellings and grammar (like DWGal), but I usually won't say anything about it.
2. I have never seen Rocky, Rambo, or The Godfather.
3. I will not be in the same room as someone eating canned tuna, but I love fresh tuna - seared, but rare.
4. I have a niece who is a year younger than I am.
5. I am related to 2 former U.S. Presidents and a former Supreme Court Justice.
 
I love men with long hair. The longer the better. :love:

Two of my pet wolves were in Disney movies, although their scenes were cut from the second movie.

My great grandfather was a bootlegger.

I have ADHD and can't sit still through a movie. Books can hold my attention, though.

I eat habanero peppers with every meal.
 
I have to drink orange juice while eating popcorn.
I love to eat raw spinach but if you cook it I will gag
I am in lust with Nicholas Cage(conair did it for me)
I don't find Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt all That!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

* I won a national cooking competition when I was 11.
* I am scared of heights yet have been on nearly 200 rollercoasters, have been indoor skydiving, have walked on the glass bridge over the Grand Canyon and have ridden several times in a helicopter.
* I am a classically trained trumpet player.
* I can't walk past a fish counter in a shop or eat fish that looks like fish (seriously they look like they are still looking at you!!)
* I can't stand mayonaise, plain yoghurt, creme freshe or any white sauces, but love BBQ sauce and ketchup.
* I am petrified of fire, but love to burn scented candles.
* I'm scared of dogs but love spiders and snakes.

Here is another strange one:

I'm a 5'6" fat guy who loves to play volleyball. In fact, though I could almost never spike a b all back in my prime, I could SERVE like nobody's business. In fact, I played in a casual adult league where I was told I had to "Serve softer".....

When I wouldn't - I am WAY too competitive - I was kicked out of the league.

And, finally, when I was younger I tried out for Junior Olympics in wrestling. I was also a nationally ranked "horseshoes" player. I also played "professional" softball in the 1980's. I made about $450 a season. :rotfl:
 
My mom was related to Jimmy Stewart

I love all animals but birds

I love my DH's gray hair! He looks good with it...my gray hair?..not so much!

Today is my 47th birthday! Woo hoo!!

1. I learned how to dog sled in Alaska.
2. My Grandma lived in the same building as Frank Sinatra in Hoboken.
3. M family priest is the chaplain for the NY Giants.
4. Really dread long winters when it's dark at 4pm.
5. I'm writing a book.
6. One of my best days was spent swimming with sting rays.
7. I've eaten (& liked) alligator.

I spent an afternoon at Cher's house in Beverly Hills when I was a teenager, she and Chastity were both there. I was babysitting for George & Angie Best. He was a professional soccer player. George's wife was a friend of Cher's and we were in Los Angeles for a game (from the San Francisco Bay Area) and went for a visit. I just Googled George and his son Calum.....OMG I changed that (Calum) boys diapers! :lmao:

I have a cousin who took a life sentence to avoid the death penalty
 
1. My fear of spiders is off the chart
2. Love horses but am afraid of them close up - I make them nervous and they start acting up
3. I like grilled salmon but loathe canned salmon, like canned tuna but won't eat fresh tuna
4. Am sad that my son is growing up because now I have no excuse to watch children's tv shows
5. Was always the tallest person in my class until we hit high school.
6. Served in the Army Reserve for 3 years as a Logistics Officer.
7. Lack any sense of adventure when it comes to food
 
I don't think there are many strange things about me but my sister and I were born in the same year. I was born in January and she was born in December.
