"the splash" on Splash Mountain ??

You could also try putting your DD in a poncho for the ride. I usually wear them for both Splash Mountain

and Kilimanjaro Safaris.

Do you mean Kali River Rapids?

Not too much "wet" going on during the Safari.
(Maybe the "geysers" just before the poachers' tent.)

I understand what people are saying about wanting to get wet on a water ride, but that cannon got you way too wet. It seems like they could have just modified the way they sprayed so that it was just a fun spritz rather than gigantic angry violent tsunami, but they decided just to move them. I'm fine with it.

If I want to get soaked I can go to a water park.

Good to hear that they're not on full blast anymore! My soggy story: On the last morning of our trip, we decided to spend a few hours at MK before heading off to the airport. It was a chilly morning. We all had on sweatshirts/sweaters. DH had ridden Splash Mountain with our daughter earlier in the week and had assured me that we wouldn't get all that wet. Wrong! When I saw the water, I shielded DD, and my top half was soaked to the skin. And we had all our clothes packed and suitcases checked for DME. I ended up buying a new shirt before we left - the thought of sitting on a plane in wet clothes...

We joked that it was Disney's plan to get us to buy more souvenirs. Soak the tourists and then send them through the gift shop with all those lovely DRY shirts...

Last row and second row last night and barely wet. The last row I don't junk I felt anything more than a spritz if that and second row nit much more. Big disappointment. Dh and DD rode and got front row and didn't look very wet at all

Well, they do sell clothes and towels at the exit.:goodvibes

One of the funniest things I ever saw was while waiting for the parade in Liberty Square. There was a lady across the street from us, and she had her wet shirt drying on the rope baricade in front of her. It was just like a clothesline. :lmao::rotfl:

I can't believe Disney would turn off the cannons just becaus some guests complained about getting wet on SPLASH Mountain!!

Come on, it's in the name and there are signs all over the place.

The next step is draining the flume and turning the ride into BTM 2 (with characters)
