The Special Mouse Guide to Requesting Disney's DAS Card

Hello!

As host of Special Mouse: Unofficial Disney Parks & Travel for Your Special Needs, I receive many questions from listeners who are worried about requesting Disney’s Disability Access Service Card, or DAS.

One of the reasons there is so much confusion, anxiety, and apprehension surrounding the DAS is that there have been numerous conflicting reports from guests about their experiences with the DAS since it was hastily implemented in October, 2013.

When it comes to obtaining the DAS and subsequent access to attractions at the Disney Parks, the burden of responsibility now falls squarely on the guest who is requesting the accommodation. That is why I have created a guide that will assist you with navigating the DAS process more effectively and, hopefully, with a lot less stress!

Yeah, it's not new info...it's old info...I think everybody knows the info already...or it can be found other places, like on disneys website.

Perhaps you should try that link again. Special Mouse is a podcast and blog that discusses Disney parks and travel for guests with special needs. I do not sell anything. I am not a Travel Agent. I do not work for Disney.

The guide was created as a service; consolidating information from around the web and presenting experiences from guests who have used it.
