The Sopranos final episodes (SPOILERS!!!)

I also thought it very odd that Phil was talking to Tony & Carmine from behind a curtain, especially after Carmine kept insisting that he just talked to Phil. Very, very odd. Has he flipped? Maybe the Feds were in the house?

What happened to Artie Bucco and his restaurant Vesuvio? Usually we see the crew eating dinner there at least once a season. Did they just write him off?

I'm beginning to feel very cheated. How can they wrap it all up in two episodes?

I think the previews for the next ep. suggest that Little Carmine might be playing both sides against the middle to somehow benefit himself. Trust me, his almost tearful speech to Tony from several episodes back about why he has no ambition to take the reigns in New York was probably just so much B.S.

Carmine talks out both sides of his mouth, no doubt about it!

Does anyone have a good spoiler website or maybe just a Sopranos fan board?

televisionwithoutpity has a Soprano spoiler section - I've haven't read it yet this season, but have in the past and they've always been right on target.

Meet you over there...:thumbsup2

I read somewhere that the producers said that not all the loose ends will be tied up. I guess we'll all have to make up our own endings. :confused3

I know, I sat on the edge of my seat saying to myself, OMG over and over again. Like I said, that was very hard to watch.

now that I know AJ doesn't die, I'll be able to watch it again.

wow. and wow. and only 2 episodes left. ugh.

In the trailer Sil says "He's been playing both sides of the fence" which makes me think it is Carmine of course BUT if you watch it in slow motion you can see one of the scenes is Tony and Paulie having it out. Paulie has been "up to something" for quite some time. Makes me wonder if it doesn't have something to do with Paulie.

You may be right, but I'm still guessing it's referring to Li'l Carmine. Either way, we have to wait two weeks to find out. Damn it.

Yeah, that would be what would make sense but The Sopranos trailers always have a way of making you think the obvious is going to happen and then it actually never plays out that way.

Aside from some loose ends and storylines that have just vanished (such as Artie), I am satisfied because Sopranos is really going out on top of its game. There has been some excellent acting and writing this season. I'm just bummed we don't get an episode next Sunday. :guilty:

How's this for a weekend... on Sunday 6/10 I'll catch the Sopranos finale and then first thing Monday morning fly off to WDW. Life is good. :cool2:

The tooth in the cuff made me think of Tony's dream when his teeth were falling out. That's symbolic for something, but I don't know what.

For alot of Italians (including myself) when you dream about your teeth falling out, that means you will lose alot of money. I hope I never have that dream!

It was a great episode last night. Although it was very heavy, they certainly remembered to bring the funny. My two favorites:

The subtitled: "Get a mop"

And, "Bobby did mushrooms once. Stuffed mushrooms. The whole tray." :rotfl:
It makes me mad that they are not having it on next weekend! If it is because of the holiday weekend, that makes no sense--it started on Easter!!!

Now I have to keep HBO for another week. It will probably be in the next months billing cycle too!
And there you have your reason. HBO subscriptions take a HUGE fall-off when Sopranos season ends. It certainly ends my subscription. The Sopranos is the only reason we have HBO in our house.

In classic dream interpretations, teeth falling out are always symbols of death.

I've had dreams where several of my teeth fell out! It's a very weird feeling, it's as if it's really happening! I lost two close relatives during that time frame, maybe there's some truth to it being a symbol of death.

I found this through a quick online search:

In the Greek culture, when you dream about loose, rotten, or missing teeth, it indicates that a family member or close friend is very sick or even near death.
I actually first heard that interpretation from my Grandma and she was Lithuanian, not Greek!

There are other interpretations on that site also.

Well, I hope I don't have any more dreams of teeth falling out if the meaning is true. But who knows. :confused3
