The Sopranos final episodes (SPOILERS!!!)

I loved this episode, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! The part where Melfi cuts ties was so interesting, you could see her thinking about every single thing Tony was saying and comparing it to that study in her head.

Why did they pick Bobby instead of Paulie? What spoilers have you guys been reading about Meadow?

Okay, so the Meadow rumor I read didn't happen.....this week.

Wow, I'm still :faint:

"Look at the stems on blondie!" Classic!

Not to mention Tony and Sil's pantomiming the slow motion fight scene from Raging Bull while the intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana played in the background... definitely one of the top three Sopranos episodes ever!

I'll type it in white so that others that don't want to know can't read it. Highlight it in order to see it:

I read that Meadow borrows Tony's Escalade to pick up some sort of letter of recommendation and in a case of mistaken identity, Meadow is shot. The bullet is obviously meant for Tony. It didn't say if she lives or dies.

More spoilers-----below regarding Tony:

I also read that rather than be killed, Tony kills himself and A.J. in the "safe house" before Phil's crew can. I guess we'll find out next week which ending they decided to go with, there were three filmed in all.

Ok, my heart was pounding after that episode! I was actually yelling at the tv (my dog thinks i'm nuts!) I knew something was going to happen when Bobby was in the train store and the episode title was "The Blue Comet" I called my niece in PA who also loves the show and we both said we hope we can survive one more episode, this show can give you a heart attack!

My dad and I are the only 2 fans in the house......

but, we decided to have a Sopranos finale party here! Were going to have an Italian dinner and some red wine all while watching the reruns of this season leading up to the final show!

Anybody else planning an finale party?

I wasnt sure whose house Tony was in, I thought it was Silvios since he was in the hospital! I thought it was so funny though when one of the guys asked Tony after they arrived in the house "wanna order a Pizza?!" How could they think of food at a time like that?!

I don't think they're in Uncle Jr's house, that would be too obvious. I could be wrong though.

For a very brief minute, when Tony went upstairs and was on the bed with the gun Bobby gave him on the first episode, I thought Tony was going to put the barrel in his mouth and end it all!

I'm suppposed to work next Sunday during the show, I need to find someone to switch with! I have to watch it with the rest of the world!

Did anyone think the scene with Syl being shot in the car was kind of odd? He was down behind the dash scrambling for his gun and I think I saw him shot in the leg. The other guys came by in the car and had a look at him slumped and just left. What if he was in on the hit and is not injured that badly?

Did the sell Livia's house I thought it was hers. They should have gone to Bobby and Janice's lake house

I thought I saw him get hit once in the shoulder then when he turned around, once in the back, but it was so exciting, i can't be 100% sure. Paulie said he talked to someone and that Syl wasn't going to make it.

Yes, Syl was whisked away to the hospital but no one has seen him. Paulie said he heard Syl might not regain consciousness. Remember when the rap singer paid Bobby to shoot him? just a flesh wound. I wondered if Syl was to be wounded but not killed, on purpose?

Anyone else notice the Silvio standee in the hideout? Not sure if it's Silvio's house (actually, quite doubtful that it is), but was rather oddly funny, all the same.

I don't think they're hiding. I think they know that is a waste of time in the long run and they are waiting for the war to come to them. They are more prepared this way, have larger numbers, and the best weapons at their disposal. I think it's going to be a bloody war, and both sides will lose.

bumping for the morning crowd

So what do you think will happen?

Awesome episode...still keeping you guessing for next week. I was so mad it was a short episode...we need more, not less! The genius of this show is that we are all rooting for Tony, one way or another.

I loved Tony walking into AJ's room and AJ saying "We could've been doing anything in here." Tony's response, "Yeah, but what were you doin'? Nothin'!" Such a parental response!

I also loved when Tony got out of the car at the "safe house" with a large trash bag with an obvious machine gun in it! So classic. I said to DH, could someone mistake that for a golfclub?!

The bloodbath has begun, but I hope it ends artistically and not in a Scarface kind of bloodbath, you know? The show deserves better than that.

Also, who was the guy that Syl killed in the beginning? I didn't recognize him, but he must've been one of the NY crew...why did he kill him?
