The so-so trip..March madness is at WDW *Updated 7/27* Final thoughts

Wow ! I have never seen a line that long at Karamell Kuche!

I loved the pink slushie too!

Wow - I would have turned around at the sight of those crowds in the caramel store too!!!
it was scary. :lmao:

Ok, caught up now.
Thank you, thank you , thank you, for your Epcot pictures. We did a tour in the morning, "Behind the Scene's Tour" at Epcot. We were so tired, hot after the tour, we just beelined from China to Italy to eat.

You know how you can be in a park and look, but not look carefully? That was us. We walked back and had FastPasses for Soarin, then we went to Guest Services and picked up our FastPass for any ride and we had got a VIP spot for Illuminations. We spent so much time in Future World. My dh also dragged me into Innovations East and did a 20 minute tour of the "house of the future" that was another 20 minutes of my life I can't get back. And we did Test Track twice. My dh loved the changes-ugg.

Enough...I am doing a trip report, just waiting for my PhotoPass Pics.
I love that tour. It was so much fun and the right price. LOL
:rotfl2: I do not think I have seen "the house of the future".
TT the ride is okay, the queue is terrible.
Let me know when you start the report.

Now we had entered the Norway pavilion and Vinny wanted to ride Maelstrom because he did not remember it went backwards.

It didn’t take 25 minutes more like 15. Some pics as I was waiting in line.

Then we were off.

Blurry pic of the village at the end.

Then we waited for the movie. First time I saw it. Not bad but not great.

Then we entered the store.

LOL.

I thought this cute.

Then I shoved my fist in the trolls nose. LOL. Don’t ask.

Vinny did a nice shot.

Next up we hit Mexico.

I love this place but hate how dark it is.

Then it was time for a fiesta tour.

The only pic out of 9 that came out.

Here is a short video towards the end of the ride.

And then they were saying adios to us.

It is a fun ride but not a must do.

Then we found ourselves outside again.

I think I will stop here.

Up next,

Dinner and a movie and the end of day 3

I think everyone has to stick their hands up the trolls nose, Andrew even stuck his hand up it's nose.:rotfl2:

The Mexican small world is a must for us, we have to ride every time.

Ewwww! You fisted the Troll's nose????? :confused3 :scared1:  :scared1:

I just put on the Brunhilda hat for pictures with the Troll!

You put your fist up the troll's nose but making a face is needed too. I never thought of doing it til traveling with Kristel and she makes a great face. :lmao:

Scott if I wasn't so sunburned on my face again I would have blushed. I treasure our friendship. And to think "it all started with a mouse". We met right here on these boards over a TR.

Vinny forgot Maelstrom goes backwards. What was his reaction to that?

I like Mexico but agree that pavilion is dark. I love wandering around in there. It has some interesting merchandise.

Nice update :thumbsup2

Love the Maelstrom! I remember when it first opened, it was the only "thrill ride" at Epcot LOL I like the movie at the end but it is too loud. It could use an update but it shows some really pretty scenery. Love the Troll pics!

I like the ride in Mexico with the Donald but I kind of miss the old one too. I liked the little song they played at the end and the funny vendors at the market that would follow you to each window.

Ahh Malestrom, one of my favorite rides in all of Norway! :lmao:

You are brave to stick your hand up the trolls nose... think of the size of those boogers! ick! No Viking hats with your poses, no?

Your photos from the Gran Fiesta Tour are fabulous! Even with the low light they came out so good. :thumbsup2

I also enjoy Donald's fiesta boat ride (what is the actual name of that attraction?). But I really just love going inside that building. It's so cool! But it was way too crowded the day we went.

I am shocked the video in Norway was running. It's never running. I haven't seen it in about 10 years. I know I'm not missing anything, but still. :rotfl:

Your indoor pics turned out great!

Brave people. :lmao: Only kidding. it is fun.

:rotfl2: Glad nothing came out when I removed my hand.
:lmao:

I cannot make faces unless Vinny has a little wind.
yes we did. :flower3:
they do have interesting merchandise. I need to get into the tequila place.

Nice update :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: a thrill ride.

:rotfl2: there are so many choices.
Eww, I won't do that again. :rotfl:
Nope, no viking hat pic.
Thank you.

The gran Fiesta I think. I call it Donald's boat ride. :rotfl2:
it is a great building to go into. If crowded it would not be so good.

I am shocked the video in Norway was running. It's never running. I haven't seen it in about 10 years. I know I'm not missing anything, but still. :rotfl:

it has run every time we got off the ride. your not missing much. :lmao:
thanks.

:thumbsup2 Thanks

Karamell Kuche always smells so good, but I rarely buy anything. All of that stuff is too sweet for me.

I guess the Norway movie is for teacher nerds like me. I enjoy it, but it is kind of funny to see people dart across the room and out the door to avoid it.

Enjoyed the pictures. :thumbsup2

I agree. We do get something there later in the trip. Wait and see.

:rotfl2: it isn't bad but it should be updated.

Thanks.

Once we finished that ride we decided it was time to start heading back to the resort. Here are some pics as we walked out.

I know I had to stop here for a personal break. LOL.

Then we walked some more.

Passing this again.

Our chariot arrived.

Goodbye Epcot.

We passed here along the way. I must have been bored on the bus. LOL

I’m sexy and I know it. :rotfl2:

Then we were back here.

We went inside and freshened up a little and I rested my knee as it was really starting to hurt. Then soon enough we were back here and off to.

Vinny as we are going to DTD.

We got to DTD and were hungry so we went to our new favorite place. Wolfgang Puck Express. What did you have? Good question once again.

Scott:

Ent:
Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf - mashed potatoes, port wine sauce and crispy onion rings $15

Des:
Brownie $3

Drink:
Root beer

Vinny:

Ent:
Same as me, the meatloaf.

Des:
Creme Brulee $6

Review:
This is a great counter service meal. The meatloaf is delicious and the desserts are always fresh. This is a must place for us.

The total would have been $47.61

Then after our meal we walked being we had some time.

That was my last pic of the night. We then went over to the theater and we were seeing OZ, the Great and Powerful. I made the ticket order a week before and it did not say 3d so I called the theater and the kid who answered didn’t even know the movie was in 3d and I wanted to verify it was that version. It turned out it wasn’t. it was the dine and movie version and being we just dined we were not having that. I then returned the tix I had and we got a ticket in the regular theater for 1 hour later. We walked over there and stood in line. Glad we did as they had rope barriers up to form lines but I don’t think they really needed them as it wasn’t too busy.
We saw the movie and it was really good. Highly recommend it if you have not seen it. China Doll is the best.

After the movie I went to SSR to have a Dismeet (I cannot mention who it was as she is a very private person and I will respect that) and had a drink at 12:30 am (she brought wine out and her hubby) and we sat by the main pool drinking and talking. It was so nice. Vinny went back to the resort and sleep. LOL.

Then I went back to the resort and fell asleep.

Overall it was a good day.

Up next,

Oh my knee

That meatloaf looks HUGE! I can never get Fran to go to WPE, we either have ADRs or are cooking in the room. Someday.....

You liked the movie Oz.
I just don't like James Franco.
I hated him on General Hospital-and I don't think I can get past that.
I'll wait for it to come out on Red Box and pay my buck and maybe I won't feel so bad. I do like Mila Kunis though.

Sorry your knee is hurting.
I had some back issues at Disney. ):

Whew, I felt like I was behind but I caught up!

Oh hey Mr. Troll...do you need a tissue? You've got a fist in your nose...:thumbsup2 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: :thumbsup2

@MeMom...that was me you saw running through the theater...I never stay for the movie..ahahaha

So cool that you went to see OZ while you were in DTD! I never think about seeing movies when I am there, but that would be a wonderful end to an evening.

Great updates!!!
