Hi guys,
I am staying at Pop next month and was curious to the size of the resort. I have heard it is quite big, yet it only has one bus stop so I'm a little confused. How long would it take me from the furthest room at Pop to walk to the bus stop if I got the worst allocation? Can anyone compare it in terms of how much bigger/ smaller it is to POFQ, CSR or POLY as I have stayed at these before.
Thanks for any indications you can give me, its so hard to judge by the maps.

:cool1: :cool1: we always stay at pop we love it we had the furthest room last trip nuce and quiet pool not to busy i would say less than 5 mins walk to bus stop quickest way through car parks hope this helps :thumbsup2

When I stayed there, I was in the room where the arrow is pointing. To be specific, I was on the fourth floor and in the right corner (perfect view).

It took me about 5 minutes to walk there, but keep in mind that I'm a fast walker!

I never stayed at any of the other hotels, so I can't really help you.. except give you my knowledge of where I stayed. Hopefully when you do go, it'll be a nice spot. Even if it's farther than I was, the picture exaggerates just a bit. It's not that bad at all!

It's bigger than French Quarter but then again just about every Disney resort is bigger than French Quarter. Smaller than Coronado Springs because I can't ever do a complete walk around of Coronado Springs in one shot. Maybe a bit larger than the Polynesian.

Even though the resort is spread out, none of the buildings are more than 5-10 minutes of a walk to the lobby area. There's really no need for multiple bus stops at Pop Century.

Personally, I think the fact that there is only one bus stop is a BIG draw for me. Since they have the stop segregated by destination, you can always tell how crowded a bus is going to be. Plus, the folks in the white van who monitor the bus queues can immediately see when they need to request a secondary bus to accomodate a long line. The only thing I wish they had done was provide some sort of shelter for protection from the sun and rain.

even though i agree with the majority about 5-7 min at most it really depends on finding the best route cutting through the correct buildings and taking the right path that gives you the shortest route you might have to cut through evrything pop you might have to cut through the parking lot like i did I stayed on 4 floor 80's just off the elevator near roger rabbit not a big fan of this placement becuse I ussally perfer to shoot tothe food court for drink refill before and after the parks so this spot was fairaley far to either my room or everything pop so it made for a long walks if i had to do both.

Pop Century is about fifteen hundred feet from the far corner of th 90s building (side away from the pool, facing the parking lot) to the far corner of building 2 in the 50s (again, side away from the pool, this time facing the lake). The lobby of Classic Hall is about mid-point, specifically the skylight in the middle of the building.
If your goal is to be close to the buses, you want to request* 70s, 80s, or 90s. These five buildings also put you closer to Everything Pop.

*Standard disclaimer: a request is merely a request, Disney does its best to grant all requests, yada, yada, yada.

I agree, niothing seems more than 7 minutes apart. Of course it depends how fast you walk too. But the way it's set up, it's all pretty close.
