Yes. It has a chart that goes from red to green. The greener you are the better. At one point in the red it says "minimum requirement"

It wont run on our old computer and I havent tried the laptop.

edit- I preordered and they gave me a preview disc. Is this the one that came with making magic?

Like olena said...I don't know why people get all ticked off when others use cheats...it's not like we're playing against/with each other (unless you're talking Sims online..which I never got into.)

My fav is the money cheat as well, I love to build and decorate the houses and unless you are building a one room shack, you need money. It takes those darn sims a long time to build up skills and earn money.

Ugh. I cant access the BBS forums. It keeps asking me to login, and I've used 3 different accts.

Im so excited about this game! The preview disc was great. I love the guess the family tree game!

I also love building the houses! Im so excited to be able to change the colors of furniture/walls/floors! FINALLY! My houses will all look different instead of basically the same.

LOL, I always fill the box with !:!; too. That is how I would get all of the Simoleons needed to build my massive houses.
Usually, my Sims were pretty broke after building and decorating their house. They were "house poor", LOL. I thought it was so funny when the bills would pile up, the maid and gardener would quit and the repo man would come and take some of their luxury items.

I think it's the same one. The disc look different, but the content is almost, if not, identical.

As for the rest of the Goths, they had a son before Bella's disappearance. His name is Alexander. Cassandra is all grown up and looking for a husband.

Remember Dina from the preview CD. She slipped away with Don and ended up in a catfight with Sarah's siter at the Birthday party. It looks like she has a thing for Mortimer, too. I don't know if this situation shipped with the game or if whoever made the screenshots just encouraged it.

I will probably move into Strangetown first as well. I have also been playing around with SC4 to create some neighborhoods.

I really don't know where I'll start. I might just create a family and play with them, until I get the hang of everything. I don't want to screw up the other families, until I know what I'm doing. Strangetown is pretty tempting though.... Isn't the alien family called the Smith's?

I'm pretty sure the !;!;!;! will work to repeat the cheat....

yikes!! i certainly hope that not everyone is affected by the back-order...i just placed my pre-order for the DVD version through EB games!!!! had i known that i didn't have to PAY for it until i picked it up, i would have ordered it a looooooooooooooooooong time ago!!!

As far as I know, it's just late Amazon pre-orders affected. Tara ordered hers in mid August.

I paid for mine in full at EB and I would be pretty mad if my copy wasn't available

Whoo Hoo! I got one today too. I popped into the neighborhood GameStop this afternoon while running errands and they had a bunch them.
I have been scanning it in between taking care of the kids and chores. I am really looking forward to getting this game.
