I dunno if there's another thread about this but...

Who's pumped for The Simpsons Ride?? :thumbsup2 I can't wait. It's about time they got a ride of their own and Universal seems like the place to do it :woohoo:

Too bad we have to wait till next year to ride it :headache:

Anyone else excited?

I don't know about excited but I'm definately looking forward to it. Hopefully, Univeral will do a passholder preview like they did for ROTM.

We are going to US the second week of June, will the Simpson Ride be open then? I hope so!

I think the ride will probably turn out great like most evrything else at Universal but I am not thrilled by the whole Simpsons theme.I have never liked the Simpsons on TV and certainly didn't make the trip to the theater for the movie.Like I said though the ride will more than likely be great regardless of the theme and I know a ton of people really like the Simpsons.

lol, I'm mildly a Simpsons fan and liked the movie so I'm probably gonna enjoy the ride a lot.
I'm looking forward to the Harry Potter additions to IOA more though since I'm a BIG Harry Potter fan :p

but you have to enter to win todd.

i would like to hear more about this.. i cant wait to see picS. i wonder if they started building? IF anyone hears of any progress please post it!!!
thx!!!!
xoxo

there are a couple of trip reports in the forum that has pics of the start of simpson ride area.

I hope its not just a straight up sim like BTTF was. No offense to BTTF fans, but I hated that ride, rode it once and that was enough. Didn't do anything for me except give me back problems:scared: .

I was there on 8/13 and only saw the walls up for the Simspons, is there more that I missed?

I figured they'd be doing more extensive work to the exterior, but maybe they just haven't started yet.

the pics of the simpson area that was posted in the trip reports were of the wall around BTTF. it's decorated with simpsons.
also some of the simpson characters were out there meeting guests.

I didn't get the newsletter!
