The Silly and Mischievous Adventures of Four Crazy Canucks - FINAL THOUGHTS 2/1

We eventually got on the ride, Mom beat me royally when it came to points but my accuracy was much better. That is what I tell myself to make myself feel better about losing. lol
We all really liked the ride so we grabbed some fastpasses afterwards. They were stamped for 4:30-5:30.

I finally got to ride TS and it is so much fun. For some reason my best score was my first try. :rolleyes1 I think it's because I was trying to hit the higher point targets and kept missing.

I am having so much fun catching up on your TR since I got back from my own trip on Saturday ( ). The stuffed animal displays at DTD are hilarious - I can't believe I didn't notice them when I was there. I will have to go back so I can check them out (I am always looking for an excuse to return to WDW...)
And I agree they need more Wall-E stuff! I hope it doesn't end up like Meet the Robinsons - you can't find ANYTHING for that movie it seems! The few Wall-E things we saw on our trip were either unimpressive or the same things our local Disney Store carries. I don't know how I missed the Wall-E artwork at the Art of Disney, boo!
I wish I could have stuck to my budget like you did - I went a little crazy! Granted a lot of stuff I got was Christmas presents for my family, but I also bought some very unneccessary things (did my cat really need three souvenirs? :confused3 ).
And I can't believe you stayed awake for almost 40 hours!

I too am trying to plan a trip to Japan. It's many years away for me too - I want to save up money and do it right, spend a week or two there since it will probably be a once-in-a-lifetime trip. All I know for sure is that I want to check out Tokyo and the Disney parks there.

You should definitely play Kingdom Hearts...it's amazing!

Alek was really excited to see this picture of a cow. He really likes cows for some reason, something to do with his friend Bill having a pet cow or something like that. He can tell you what is up with his cow love if he wants to.

I took this exact same picture. I love that cow! :rotfl:

:rotfl: See I aimed for the high points but I was so precise that I did not get in as many shots as mom thus the lower score. I should have just let loose and randomely shot at stuff. :rotfl:

Well you had to replenish your supply after Stacy and Clinton threw all your cool Disney clothes away. I love What Not To Wear but I could not go on and sacrifice all my stuff, you are a brave soul Kelly. :thumbsup2

I know, I have a problem. :rotfl:

That is pretty much what I am thinking, at least two weeks with 3 days at least for the Tokyo parks. I would love to stay at the Hotel Miracosta, it looks absolutely amazing!

I took this exact same picture. I love that cow! :rotfl:

:rotfl:

That Ariel is a little worn looking:rolleyes1

The show was okay, not what I expected, half of it was video clips from the movie. I thought the whole thing was going to be a stage show like Beauty and the Beast.

Really? shh don't tell, but I skip this everytime.

Our next stop was One Man's Dream,

I really like this, first it's where I won my one and only Dream but I love the history and seeing the models. You should try to see the movie, very interesting.

Mom said he was chatting me up, I said he was just doing his job.

Is Mom trying to play match maker, can't blame her, every Mom wants a prince for their little girl;)

Next stop on our rainy day tour of Hollywood Studios was the Animation Building. Lucky for us the show was about to start and they decided to squeeze a few more people in so we did not have to wait. This show was hilarious, they were talking about the many different stages an animated character goes through before you get the final form and they used Mushu as an example. We were laughing nonstop. After the show we filed out into the show room where they have some exhibits, can meet characters and this is also where you would go to do the animation class. Erich of course had to take pictures of all the Wall-E displays.

A picture with our favourite little guy

Because of the rain they had a bunch of characters in the area, the lines for most of them were really long though. The Incredibles were posing for pictures but as we went to get in line we saw that they were leaving. I asked the CM how long until they were back and she said 15 minutes. As I walked back to join my brothers in line I heard somebody call out to me. It was my buddy Kat! She was standing in the character line as well. We chatted for a few and then I went back to join the family. We decided to not wait in line after all and instead we headed to the first showing of Beauty and the Beast. Erich and Alek were really looking forward to seeing Four For A Dollar perform again.

When we got to the theatre they were not letting people in yet so I told the family to wait there while I ran and grabbed fastpasses for Alek and I at Tower of Terror and Rock N' Roller Coaster. If they started letting people in their job was to get us the best seats possible. I trudged off into the rain on a mission for fastpasses, the line for TOT was not bad but there was a big crowd around the RNR fastpass machines. With fastpasses in hand I went back to the theatre and saw mom waiting outside for me. I was confused about why she was waiting for me out in the rain, she should have gone in with Alek and Erich. She was getting over a cold she had so I was annoyed with her for staying out in the rain when she didn't need to.

We found Alek and Erich easily, they had got us some pretty decent seats. We had the same arrangement as at The Little Mermaid, I would video tape and Erich would take pictures. Unfortunately for me, Mrs. Big Head had to sit right in front of me so I had to move the camera around at times to get all the action into the shot.

Here is a sampling of Erich's pictures from the show, I say a sampling as we had well over a hundred.

Upon reviewing our pictures we saw that Gaston is wearing these really ugly fake arm muscles, they look so gross in the pictures. :scared:

We were fascinated by the people acting out the show in sign language, Alek and Erich took a few pictures of them and they all turned out rather funny looking after the fact. In this one it almost looks like she is giving the crowd the finger.

Belle admiring his chest muscles, can't blame the girl if all she is used to is the fakely muscled Gaston. :rotfl:

I really enjoyed the show just as much as last year. When we stood up to leave I found the bottom of my bag completely soaked. I had been a big idiot and placed it on the ground so of course it soaked up all the rain water that came off our shoes.:headache:

I'll be posting the Beauty and the Beast video for you guys in a separate post for those who wish to watch the show.

We have all of Four for a Dollars performance on video but the file size was too big for photobucket and youtube was not cooperating with me today. :headache:

:lmao: Yeah, and that was only a fraction of the pics we took during that show. Erich just kept clicking away, Alek took some pictures too. Some of the shots turned out really well, some really funny and some not so well.

Yep the seat saving and fastpass fetching worked out well.
