OH no!!! That's awful! Especially when you have a goal in sight and want to do this thing that just in and of itself is somewhat painful- All my "pain" is in my leg muscles which have turned frighfullly cottage cheesy since returning home.
The mind wants to but the "twins" are not convinced.

I have got plenty of cottage cheese I would like to give away. My muscles get sore so I know that is good but the other pain usually gets in the way.
UGH, Pat, I'm so sorry! keep up the ice and the tape- you'll be fine by Oct. And hey, FYI, think tentatively about Oct. 2012.![]()
Thanks. The ice seems to have done its job. The ankle is OK, no pain unless I try to go into an extended dorsi flex or rotate it to the side I rolled it on. All in all, being built like Gumby has its advantages.

The crack or pop was the worst of it but I think it was a ligment being over extended and then snapping over the bone. I am thankful I am a "giver" in that respect.

I have learned a lot about this body and I really feel I have a better idea of what works than a doctor that sees me for 15 minutes. I really was not surprised but I thought at least he would have new excercises for me since I told him the traditional ones I cannot do.

I am pretty sure no permanent damage was done. This time.
