My comment may have been a bit confusing... Sorry! No, meeting Brook was planned. We had arranged to meet during my 2009 January trip when I was travelling with a friend.

The LGMH sighting in the Dinosaur queue was during the January 2010 trip with Katharina and it was a DISer who I had not seen on the boards before and I don't remember her screen name anymore. It seemed to be very complicated.

Okay, all caught up over here! Looks like I missed a whole lot more banter than I have time to comment on. Tumble monkeys, Cubs games, DIS meets, snow shovel duels and such!!! Dan wouldn't know what hit him!!!

So many great pictures! Loved how much fun you three were having! And the speak, see and hear no evil pose for Dinosaur! And the one with the cutout peeking through the grass with the shocked look that was TOOOOO authentic.......you sure you weren't taking that picture while doing the Liesa greeting???

Hope to be starting on the Disney part of my TR by this weekend. I read on one of the threads here about the character Christmas trees right before we left on our trip, so I made sure I got a lot of pictures of those, so be on the lookout for them!

Me too! Joe did agree to booking the room. We are going to book from December 30 - whatever the first Saturday in January is. We'll fly from MN to FL. Ahhhh, dream, dream, dream....I hope it works out!

And yes Pat, we will have to right that just-missed-DIS-meet!

The Santasaurus is cute too. We didn't make it back to Dinoland during our NYE trip so all the decor is new to me. Great shot of A & B "shivering" in front of the snow man.

Oh, you have met IfUHadWings!! I have read her TRs I got some LGMHs from a nice DISer (we can't get them in Germany) and I am planning on having one for my next trip!

Dis meets are fun. Planned or unplanned it is great to bump into someone in the place you both love. I have seen if U had wings around the boards before I went on that trip but not lately.

Knowing your bathrooms is an important touring skill! I think I have seen quite a few very small ones at Epcot for whatever reason. I think AK and DHS are generally ok.

I guess now that my kids are older and I have been going alone, I know where to go but especially in Asia with Yak and Yeti being relatively new, there are a couple of new ones.

How much fun you had! Those pictures are great! You really are very brave to gon on Dinosaur two times in a row! I don't have to play scared for the picture, I truly look scared! That is if you see my face and I am not trying to hide in the vehicle...

The Dinos don't really bother me. I do always feel like I am saving myself a chiropractor visit when I go on.

I know what you mean. When I go with the family I end up being in "Mom" mode and since in my family that means keeping everyone else straight I don't get to be too goofy all the time.

Isn't that cutout picture hilarious???? That is my favorite from the trip. Well that and another pic I have from the very last minutes we were in the park. I am sure that was Maroo's face when faced with the Liesa greeting.

Now i just have to figure a way to get down there myself, either with or without the family.

I casually mentioned it to DD since I know she would have off a week before school starts, DS does not, and she has a NYE party she goes to with friends and does not want to miss it.

DS would do it but I would have to come back on the 1st.

DH- well right now forgettaboutit. He does not want to hear the D word.
I need some of Jackie's special potion. I am hoping for a F& W trip with him to start the conversion. Bringing him when i know it super crowded would not be good, unless he stayed in the room or just out of the parks the whole time.

We are a bunch of hams aren't we?? The Decor back there matches the themeing to a T. If you follow the themeing from dinoland and Chester and Hester's it is perfect.

That's why the boys more than likely won't be with us next time!

I'm planning our next trip for either spring of 2013 or Nov. of 2013. Hoping my mom will actually get to come along, it's been one of her dreams to go to WDW. I would love to see it through her eyes.

Would love to visit, meet the Fauntleroy Fam and take in a game at Wrigley. The only problem is there is no way I can fathom a guess right now when that might could be, so no help with trying to order tickets before the season. Maybe late in the season, when the Cubs are out of the race (like May or June ) I can visit and we can grab some tix the day of the game.......

Your Cubbies?? My son would have to differ with you on that.....yesterday he had me order for him Chicago Cubs license plates. As of yesterday there are official State of Illinois license plates - they are blue with the Cubs logo. He got "Mark" as his plate number.

Here is a picture of his car in last summers parade

He has magnetic trim with the Cubs logo, both of his back side windows have 2 or 3 decals, his back window had a big Cubs logo and one of those baseballs that looks like it has cracked the window, the back has got a silver decal and some other magnetic and peel on decals, and of course there is a cubbie antenna topper. the flags were added just for the parade - he doesn't usually have them (although the do appear from time to time). Oh and the windows were rolled down because during the parade the radio was blaring "Go Cubs Go!"

For the record, no, we didn't drop him on his head as a child, he suffers from a severe genetic condition - both sides of the family have the "Cubs fan gene" and when it got to him he had an intense reaction to it.

If I can convince Mr. Grumpy pants to just try it, I want to rent points at either AKL or a Treehouse. Maybe with a kitchen and maybe animals I can turn him. Maybe if we drive teh car would help too. I think he feels trapped on property even though he doesn't really want to off property, but wants the option.
