I'm not sure why it's early dismissal on the 27th but the 28th and 1st are workdays and the 2nd is election day. Report cards come out on the 8th and then they're off for the 11th (Veteran's Day). So, from the end of October up until we leave the girls are going to have a lot of short weeks.

The kids definitely need some time to come off the sugar high!

I'm glad you got to see the opening show at MK. I finally got to see it last year and I loved it. I'm glad you got to meet Memom and Jill too. They are so nice.

I try to do a couple of "new" things each trip. That is why I love it so much. I can never do it all and I always have "new" stuff to do the next time.

MeMom and Jill are so nice. I really enjoyed meeting up with them.

By now I have entered Magic Kingdom and wandered up Main street. At the time I did not think I was taking a long time but once in Magic Kingdom, it seems like time almost stands still while moving fast all at the same time.
I made my way to the castle to offically meet up with Memom and Jill and others too, I think.

I looked around and then at my watch. Oh No, did I miss it. I knew the plan, Dumbo, then Peter Pan. I glanced over at Dumbo. At some point I sent a text.
I wandered but stayed pretty close to the castle.

I wandered as far as Pooh.

I was entertained by these lovely ladies

They were in rare form this morning. I think 2 little girls were actually crying but they did make sure they made them stop before sending them away.
After pictures they would yell-" Now go away!" They would hurry the next group to come up - " Get on with it we don't have all day" they would yell at us- " Why are you taking pictures, these are not your children, creepers."
All in fun, of course. My sides hurt from laughing. I commented that that was one of the few jobs they could get at Disney acting that way. The handlers were cracking up from some of their comments too. There was a crowd watching as well as the line waiting to meet them.

I remember it had turned a bit chilly, morning temps maybe in the high 40's?
This woman was obviously standing in the sun to get warm.

I snapped some pictures of my surroundings.

At some point I believe I got a text back. MeMom and Jill had done their morning routine and were somewhere in MK. Let the game begin. We would each go about our business of sorts and try to cross paths. It was MK scavenger hunt. I was sad I missed at our original time but I knew we would cross paths soon. Our little game was fun.
I used my special FP even though I did not think I needed it.

I did have a mission here at MK. It was announced that Toontown would be razed to expand Fantasyland. I cannot tell you the last time I was in Toontown. With my kids growing up Toontown was just a crowded, stroller infested place that held kiddie things no one else wanted to see.

I must have documentation of what used to be. To compare it to what will be. To walk down memory lane in the future. To Toontown I go!

What would documentation be without a garbage can?

It was at this point I got a text saying MeMom and Jill were getting out of Buzz and heading to the Merchant of Venus.

I too wandered in Toontown too- just for a last peeky-poo. I wasn't there long though. It's still a stroller infested kiddie land.

Do love that Minnie has obviously visited my local grocery store's gourmet (read expensive) cheese aisle. I hope Mickey makes a lot of dough- that stuff is expensive!!!!

I took the shortcut.

This was still closed.

I made my way inside the store and found my new friends. Jill was feeding Bella outside. We sat, we chatted for a bit. I had brought some glow sticks for Brooklyn. I totally dorked out about a picture. Fortunately MeMom was on the ball and took a few, without her in it of course.

I headed back to finish my mission. But as usual, I got distracted on the way.

I did spend some time back there. To spare everyone, that is probably 2/3 of the pictures I took.

We had texted back and forth a few times. I would text, they would be in a ride and would see it when they got out, They would text me back while I was in a ride and so on.

My son and I played a simliar game this past trip. We graduated to pictures of where we were since I know he hates to type it out.

Regarding Toontown, I think I got just about every square inch.

We never did Pooh's Playful Spot and now I wish we had, it looks so cute. All well! I really look forward to the construction being down in Fantasyland, it looks so strange now.
