The "Scoop" about DCL ice cream

A few of us on these boards have been known to make coke floats as well. Just get a cup from the drink station, add some vanilla soft serve and then and then add some coke!! Yummy!!!

Also, I have made chocolate milk as well.....cup and milk from drink station and then just add the chocolate syrup from the soft serve area....

Adding coffee to the soft serve makes a yummy drink as well, instead of Coke or another soda.

DS was 12 on our first cruise last year. When I asked why he wanted to do another one, his first answer was the ice cream. For some reason, he didn't find out about it until the last day on our cruise and he feels cheated. I did point out that for what a cruise costs, I could probably buy him his own soft serve ice cream machine. But of course it wouldn't be the same.

That sounds fantastic! What flavors of soft-serve are available these days? Dh and I didn't eat any last year, so it's been a few years since we've visited the ice cream station.

Ok, how do you KNOW it is frozen yogurt??? Will they show me the container to prove it?? lol. Both myself and my son are lactose intolerant, we can have frozen yogurt but not ice cream. Can you imagine trying to keep a 2 year old away while letting your older 2 get ice cream?? I would LOVE to let him have some this time.:)
