Okay -that country song has tons of children that don't know it's a double entendre singing it. It reminded me when I was eight years old and my grandmother bought me a shirt with a forest scene on it with a cartoon beaver smiling and waving. and it said "EAT A BEAVER SAVE A TREE - IT'S ECOLOGICAL!
I by no means mean to be gross or disgusting but my parents and grandmother had no clue on it's double meaning so I wore it everywhere. Looking back I am totally freaked out that they would have let me wear this shirt at eight years old or any age for that matter. I think I am permamently scarred.

Please parents - stay away from shirts like this. And if you have any questions on somethings true meaning please ask someone who is street smart.

:smooth:

That is so funny and embarassing. One of the funniest things I've heard actually.

There is a truck that is always parked behind my in laws that has a sticker that says "Save a horse,Ride a Cowboy" on it. I have never heard the country song.

Anyways when I first read it, as being a woman, I took it in an "adult" way. LOL!!! You know how some women fantasies are about firefighters, policemen, cowboys, well you get the jiff. Or maybe it's just me and at the time, I wasn't thinking like a good girl. LOL!!

My son had me buy him a T-shirt last year when we were school shopping last year. It had a cute cartoon of a man with a crown on and it was called the Sofa King. I was so dense as why he was laughing so hard that I would actually buy it for him. It wasn't until I actually read it out loud that I realized what the shirt said.

OK, so I just saw Big & Rich (the group that sings it) with Tim McGraw this month and couldn't help it....I bought the shirt with "Save A Horse Ride A Cowboy" across the front. I loved it and had to have it. However, DH says wear it inside only!

Funniest post....ever!

The Sofa King?

 :scared1:

I have to admit I had to read it outloud and think about what I just said before I got it. *LOL*

Reminds me of the time at work when a young boy..maybe 12 or 13 came through my line. Was wearing an oversized white tee with the Warner Bros. shield logo on it. Written on the shirt was t his: "If you see the cops, WARN A BROTHA!". I had to duck in the back to control my laughter because the child wearing it was in no way, shape or form a 'brotha'. The kid was white as a sheet of paper and I wonder if he really knew what that shirt meant.:p

Say sofa king like this

so-fa-king

Hope that helps!

One time when I was at work (I was maybe 19) someone told me a really disgusting joke and I didn't get it. So I told the joke to anyone and everyone around me (including my boss) the joke and to please explain why this would be so funny. I learned not to repeat jokes I don't get.

After I got it, I wanted to crawl into a hole. I can be so dense when it comes to stuff like that.
