The Sagamore in Lake George

Anyone been? Is it suitable for kids? Specifically my three well behaved, above average woodchucks

Travelzoo has a great bogo offer and I have always wanted to go there but looks like the good mother in me will have to bring the young uns

Ive been to the Sagamore and its beautiful.
You might have better lucjk if you repost on the DVC board.

We've stayed there for a company convention. It is really top notch, but a bit stuffy for kids IMO.

Yes and No.

IMHO the main building isn't all that suitable for kids, but the lodge buildings are-they are more like timeshare units.

There are scheduled children's activities, tons of things like water activities and such. One of the restaurants are defintely not appropriate for "above average woodchucks" (that's too funny!) but there are several that are quite family friendly, I'd suggest making reservations as soon as you book if you decide to go.

We'll be there in September.

Thanks Anne, I went ahead and booked a lodge room. The reservationist assured me that my woodchucks would be welcomed A great deal, at 139.00 p/n. Also thanks for the heads up about the dining reservations, I would have never known. She did tell me that the one place does not welcome woodchucks under 7 for dinner. Ia am excited. They have a kids club too!!!!
