The Scrapbooking Vacation Rules Trip
The Team

Wednesday 26th July
Off to the Magic Kingdom!!!!!
Maddie had us all up early today and we reached MK by 9.00 The Park was already really busy but we think its not as bad as last week.
We split up, I headed off to POTC to get Fast Passes ( NO fast passes not an attraction that has them) Thinking about it Im sure UKdeb had told me this.
Anyway I queued up for it and Theresa and the kids do Space Mountain.
We meet up at Buzz and then afterwards all head back to POTC. The new Jack Sparrow additions are very life-like.
We got lots of fast passes which saved loads of time. We rode Splash Mountain, Peter Pans Flight, Thunder Mountain and Winnie the Pooh.
We had lunch at the Plaza as we liked the idea of being waited on for a change. We were seated and the server came and asked for our details and she was very pleasant chatting away. While we were sat there, some characters came in and said one of them was going to be the next Mayor of Main Street and they were going to make a presentation to the 100th family to be seated that day. IT WAS US! We were presented with a certificate and we all had free desserts!
As you all know we are NOT big eaters
but we didnt want to be rude now did we, so

We left the park at 4.30 as we were just too tired to do anything else.
We stopped at the flower bed to get our traditional family shot that we have from every trip framed around the mirror in the dining room.
We stopped at Wal Mart on the way back to the resort and bought a few more odds and ends and just used up some bits from the freezer for tea, Texas Toast, pizza and cheesecake. In the evening we watched TV
and I tried to get some piccies of lightning without a great deal of success. This trip we had seen very little rain.
