Monday 24th July
SHOPPING day today ( just for a change)
Drove up to Waterford Lakes which is on the North Alafaya Trail, there is a scrap book shop here that Theresa had found on the internet and she said that they were part of a chain so hopefully they would not have gone like the other one we looked for in St Cloud. Luckily (or unluckily if you happen to be our bank balance) this one was still trading.
Theresa and Maddie spent ages in here as you can see from the length of Maddies till receipt.
Some sort of paper called Bazzill was only 33 cents a sheet compared to 60 pence at home so they bought half a tree between them. Callum and I went and had a look around TJ Maxx which Im sure you can work out as being the US equivalent of our T K Maxx. We spent about $40 on a couple of Nike T shirts which to be fair was about half of what the girls spent in Crafts and Stuff. There was another Jo-Anns, which had a sale on, so MORE scrap book shopping. It was lucky that there were plenty of other shops to keep Callum and me amused. We spent a lot of time looking around a large book store called Barnes and Noble, I was going to buy a digital camera magazine but they were printed in England and cost twice as much as buying them here so I didnt bother.
OK, OK
I admit we did then go and eat .well you cant just drive past a Longhorn and I didnt know there was going to be one at Waterford Lakes honest.
I know I use this word a lot but the Ribs were delicious and the Chocolate Stampede was delicious and the Cookie dough cheesecake was .well actually Theresa didnt give any away but she did inform us that it was ..............Delicious
We went back to the resort for a rest and checked out the stash.
In the evening we went to Downtown Disney. Theresa and Maddie looked around the shops and Callum and I got the cameras out again.
We also selected the Christmas decoration for this trip. Just another family tradition.
We got back to the resort quite late and ordered a Pizza before jumping into bed.
