Yes, and DD used to get them all the time when she first started running. As @Zutroy said, it is likely due to breathing. Other factors like dehydration or just having had a meal can contribute.Has anybody had experiences with getting a stitch in your side while running? During my MP Tempo run last night, everything was going great until Mile 6 when I started experiencing this searing pain in my right side. It got so bad that I had to walk. Fortunately, the pain went away after a few minutes. Once it passed, I was able to resume my run at MP until Mile 10 when it came back. Thankfully, this was the end of my workout anyway.
One of DD’s coach/teacher had given her a series of things to do to help besides breathing (try telling a 10yo to breathe
