Hello everyone. Has anyone dined at CRT? We are going in Dec. with Make a Wish for my DD. We are very excited. Any advice would be great. Our reservation is for lunch. I have viewed the menu, I was just wondering how the whole experience is. Thank you

Welcome to the Dis and glad you found us..

I have not done this meal for years but know others have had some wonderful times there and hopefully will share their experiences with you..

We have gone for Breakfast and Lunch. Lunch is nice because you can tour the MK before the crowds then relax over lunch! We are going again this year. The characters are wonderful. The room is beautiful. You will have a magical time.

The food isn't the best, but who really goes to character meals for the food anyway.

I wish you and your family pixiedust:

crt is great, you wont be disappointed. the character interaction is great & so is the food. i had lunch with my bridal party there in march 06 & had a great time. the salmon & pot pie are yummy.

hope you have a fun trip! :teeth:

We had breakfsat there last week. The interaction was good (although we had already seen most of the characters). The food was disappointing although you could ask for more and they will bring it. I did seem a bit rushed but the picture they did of us with Cinderella was brilliant.

We went in August and enjoyed it. Great picture of the kids with Cinderella (we weren't enthusiatic about this product tie-in that we were forced to buy, but it's a very nice, quality picture). The princesses are delightful, the food so-so. The narrative about wishing on a star, etc., is charming. The overall magic quotient is 5 star!

Enjoy!

Im not sure about this. I hope others will help us out here.
My sister-in-law is taking her girls there Christmas Eve for dinner.
She was told only Cinderella will be there. You get your pic with her
before you are seated. There are no other princesses. Cinderella does
not walk around to the tables??

I think the Fairgodmother is there.

They make you buy the pictures.

We did CRT for lunch this August. It was our second trip and they have added a commemorative photo with Cinderella and a print of the castle in a photo folder thing. The kids also get swords for the boys and magic wands for the girls and each child got a wishing star (a small star that has lights that twinkle when you turn it on). The kids use the sword/wands/stars for a ceremony. These things and the photo are included in the price (which did increase since 2005). I really enjoyed my Major Domo Pie and my son loved the Salmon. My daughter had chicken fingers and was a lil bummed they didn't come with fries. I didn't care much for the adult appetizers but they weren't bad, the kids apps were good. We loved the desserts and they made a little bit of an extra fuss for my birthday that day. I got a signed certificate and confetti on the table. They also gave me a free cupcake sized chocoate cake covered in fondant and sprinkles - pretty and nice to put a candle in, but not tasty. I hope this helps. We really like this meal and we really like the experience of eating in the castle with the princesses.

When u walk in the castle cinderella is there and takes the pic with u while u wait for your name to be called. Then while u are eating the fairy godmother comes out and tells a story and the girl mice come around and takes pics at the table. My husband and I were there this past feb. I hated the food but it wa a dream to eat there I did and might not go back unless one of my boys want to go.

We were just there Sunday night. We loved it! The place isn't as big as I had pictured. When you go in, you have pictures with Cinderella, then you go upstairs for dinner. My kids thought it was beautiful. But it was really great when the mice came dancing in. Then the fairygodmother was next. Actually, I thought the food was one of the better meals we had on our trip. And it is neat that they call everyone "queen", "princess", "prince", etc. We enjoyed it and loved getting the picture package, but I'm a sucker for those kind of things! I know it's pricey, but I can't imagine anyone not liking it.

I have a question about the photo package if anyone can help. I was under the impression that at least one photo was included. Is this wrong? We are going for luch in Sept. Considering it takes 2 dinner tickets I hope we injoy it. Thanks, Chris:surfweb:

You will receive a picture with your family and Cinderella and one of the castle. Those pictures come in a picture folder and are about 8x10. There are also four other pictures that are about 3.5x5. We got two copies of the big picture and two copies of another photo they had taken. The price of your pictures is included in your meal so there is no choice in taking them. We went there last month for lunch and enjoyed the food so much that we will be going back next week. Although it is expensive, it is one of those Disney experiences that you should try at least once. Have fun!

There are other princesses that typically walk around at breakfast and lunch but not dinner. Dinner is just the photo with cindy and FG and mice visiting tables.

We had breakfast there. DD had picture taken with Cinderella. One 8x10 and a few smaller photos are included with the price of your meal.

The setting is amazing and the experience is magical!

At our breakfast, we had Snow White, Jasmine, Belle and Fairy Godmother visit our table.

Also, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) and Prince Phillip were hanging out at the back side of the castle so we met them before breakfast. After breakfast, Cindy's stepmom, Anastasia and Druzilla were outside of the castle so we met them as well.

Enjoy!

Do the kids still get the swords/wand and wishing stars duing the dinner also? Or, are these props only for breakfast and lunch. We have dinner ressies, but I have been calling every week checking on any lunch openings---no luck

When I made by ressie I was told the boys still get the sword and the girls get the wand just like at lunch.

We're booked for dinner in December. My DD would probably like a sword rather than a wand (depending on whether we are having a :pirate: or :princess: day) - anyone seen any other girls do this?

My hubby and I were thinking we would do CRT for dinner on Valentine's with our 2 kids (1 and 3 1/2) Is the dinner menu good? I hope the kids enjoy the food and atmosphere. We have never ate in the castle so it will be a nice treat, and romantic on Valentine's, I hope.
