Hello everyone. Has anyone dined at CRT? We are going in Dec. with Make a Wish for my DD. We are very excited. Any advice would be great. Our reservation is for lunch. I have viewed the menu, I was just wondering how the whole experience is. Thank you

Was probably one of the best meals we had last month, food and experience wise. Our waiter, Scott, was incredibly sensitive to my DS (age 22 functions as a very young child). He brought him his own child appetizer, offered to let him use the child menu if I liked (which would have cut his standard tip) but we did get the adult meal, offered again if he would like child dessert - that we did do, called him My Prince and just made the entire experience memorable and special for both of us !

We also went for lunch. Photo session at the beginning was tedious and not as organized as it could have been. But once in the restaurant, it was great !

It's a very magical experience! Just the whole idea of being in Cinderella's castle is SO cool! I would assume that MAW has informed WDW about your DD. If not, I would call Disney Dining and let them know. They may be able to do your DD's photos first and get her to the table so she doesn't overexert herself. If nothing else, it should help them to give her a little extra magic for all she's had to live with! :) Good luck, and have a magical time!!! pixiedust:

I have eaten at CRT, and it is such a magical place to eat. For one thing, it is an amazing experience just being inside the castle. And another, the food is pretty good. The best part was that I was there for my 20th and 21st birthdays. I think I am going to make that a birthday tradition. I hope you have a great time.

Thank you for your reply. She has been through alot. She has had 7 strokes since last Dec. 28th. Two of which were major. She is a trooper and cant wait to see Cinderella. I am sure the experience will be wonderful for all of us. There is 8 possibly 9 in our party. My DD18 wasnt included in her wish trip. Money is a big issue due to DD7's medical needs. DD18 and I are surprising everyone the morning of Dec.2nd. She is home from SC for just one day. She is supposed to be flying back to SC on the 2nd near the same time we leave for Orlando. I have booked her for our trip and she will be joining us. There will be lots of happy tears.

That is great. It has taken me 8 years to make this trip. I only wish we could do it traditionally every year. Maybe once my DH sees how magical the experience is I can talk him into it again. Hope you get there for your next birthday.... party: party:
