The rooms at the WL

My family is leaving for WDW in one WEEK!!!!!!!!

We are taking my son(his first trip) We are staying at the WL and we are paying for a courtyard view. I know you can request a few days in advance specfic rooms or views and they will do their best to accomodate so you tell me what were your favorite views and rooms?

I requested inside courtyard. They (CR) said that had the better views.

we actually like the cheap views - the woods view is peaceful and relaxing - and if you want to check out the lake views there are special landings that are open to all guests

DW and I have stayed at the WL 18 times and have stayed in courtyard view rooms all but a couple of times. We like the rooms that face directly toward Bay Lake on the 4th. or 5th. floor. During Feb. of this year we stayed in room 4127 which was very good for us. Our real favorite view would be in the "bears face". There are only about a dozen or so of these rooms and they open up to the lobby. They are only on the 4th and 5th floors. If memory serves me right they would be rooms 4069 to 4079 and 5069 to 5079. Some people have complained about the noise from the lobby, but that hasn't bothered us.

Great advice from Gary M.

We have only stayed at the WL now going close to 10 times. But I agree with him that courtyard views can be very nice and worth it. Some woods views we got were not that great and I would either go with a standard view or a courtyard view myself.

We had an absolutely magical trip this past July. We received a comp upgrade to an inner courtyard room #5077 (Bear Face Room)
